Appointments are duplicated

Hello, i am Henri Lefèvre from Brussels.
Since saturday i own an HTC Desire S. After some search i decide to install MyphoneExplorer. When i do a sync, Mpe don't see the appointments in the HTC(i receive a popup saying there are no appointments in the HTC); the result is that there are now, after 5 sync, 5 apointments duplicated for one appointment. What can i do?

I am still with the same problem.
I have tried to force from mobile to PC but MPE don' see any appointments in the HTC so nottinh happens. And more, i can't erase the calendar.
Please help me

Tried the following:
Added an event in the PC side and performed a sync - the event was added to the phone.
Deleted the event in the PC side and performed a sync - the event was deleted in the phone.

Performed the same while adding/removing event on the phone side, and the sync has done successfully on the other side (PC)

Your appointments are duplicated because your phone also syncs with Google. I don't use Google's calendar (since I have both Outlook and a phone and I am not a big fan of cloud security yet) so I don't have this problem (any more.) I found out this fix by trial and error and now realize that I did not miss Google's calendar.

Under your phone's settings tell it not to sync your appointments with Google as MPE sees the Google appointments as different than Outlook ones and creates new ones.

However, you may find that Google Calendar fits your needs.If you wish to use Google Calendar, then sync outlook to Google and don't use MPE. Let your phone just sync with Google itself.

MPE does not referee between external data resources as to authority so you have to choose one OR the other. If you don't choose, then you can always set the option to confirm all changes, which will allow you to decide what to add to your phone. But since MPE doesn't check Google, Google just syncs them at its discretion (I do not know this for a fact since I do not use Google Calendar...I don't know if it checks for dupes or not.)

The other issue is whether your appointments are going to your Google calendar on your phone or a personal calendar.

I use Business Calendar for Android which allows me to view different calendars on my phone. Outlook sync's with the phone's internal calendar. I don't know where Google syncs with.

Google Sync is maybe a problem, but this would not explain why hile cannot download existing events from phone.

Thanks for your answer. I have now uninstalled MPE and installed HTC Sync.
The problem was:
When i do a sync, Mpe don't see the appointments in the HTC(i receive a popup saying there are no appointments in the HTC); the result is that there are now, after 5 sync, 5 apointments duplicated for one appointment.
I have tried to force from mobile to PC but MPE don' see any appointments in the HTC so nothing happens. Finally i have erased the calendar. I have also manually deleted all the duplicated appointment in my Outlook 2007.
I think the problem is perhaps because i have choosen "PC replace mobile" in MPE, and then MPE has added the same appointments during each sync.

Sorry, without the logfile i cannot go deeper into the problem. But of course its your decition to use MyPhoneExplorer or HTC Sync

MPE has more possibilities than HTSync, il will retry it later when it will be possible to synchronize with 2 PC
