why does FJ insert a + in some phone numbers?
when FJ import contacts from outlook 2007, it makes many domestic US phone numbers unuseable by inserting a + (international dialing code) in from of them. It seems to 1. do this randomly, and 2. never do this in front of international numbers. I live in the USA. Thank you.
The beta version for the desktop fixes this problem for MOST phone numbers. It still puts a plus in front of those with an extension [e.g. - numbers input as (aca) yyy-zzzz x2345 turn out +aca yyy-zzzz 2345]. Might for other "unusual" things in the phone number field also - those were just the ones I noticed. Search the forum for the link to the beta version and install that if you haven't - will fix most.
