MPE Sync Outlook Calendar: Use Native or Calengoo Database?

Beitrag von sjmilone »

Quick pre-sale question, open to anybody with experience:

Outlook 2007 on Vista Home Premium, Samsung Epic 4G.

Is it possible to use MPE *solely* to [1] sync the data Outlook 2007 to/from my Epic 4G Android's *native* and/or *CalenGoo* calendar (and possibly native contacts) database(s). [2] sync from internet read-only calendars (sports, weather, holidays) and [3] sync to/from subscribed calendars. I do NOT want my own data posted upon Google Calendar. Just to pull some of their read-only's. [4] Obviously it would need to handle displaying multiple calendars at the same time.

I use Calendar Snooze and CalenGoo apps layered over the native calendar with Ringo layered above all, and do not want to give up the flexibility of the snooze functions, multiple calendars and assigning ring tones separately to the reminders of each calendar. I would really like to streamline things (and simplify configuration settings) as long as I wouldn't be sacrificing in critical areas. There are more functions I would need to keep but I'm trying to keep this post on point.

Thank you much. Steve

MyPhoneExplorer does sync the native calendar database of Android. You can select the calendars you want to sync. If you have local calendars installed on the phone then you can sync with them - without interacting to Google
