It would certainly be beneficial to me, as well.
If you use any type of voice control to call up a contact or dial a contact, using a nickname is simpler and easier for the recognition software to get it right!

You getting this cause you didnt specify one (all) in Win7 Region and Language:
1. Format
2. Location
3. Administrative/Language for non-Unicode programs
MPE really has some troubles with internationalization. Maybe various controls have various charset? Or it messes unicode and not-unicode controls together.
I have tried to search for somthing about voice mail, but very few hits. Sorry if this has been asked before.
I would like to se an extra tab in the call monitor for controlling the voice mail.
I think the implementaion would be quite simple, since it is just DTMF tones.
Of course you have to be able to configure the functions...
It would also be super cool if MPE did recognize when calling the voice mail and switch to the voice mail tab.
The reason for asking this is that I always forget wich button to press to delete or fast forward.
Hi!
My idea just came today when browsing the forums.
Is it possible to make a "Thanks" or "Like" button to the user's posts in the forum? This way is easier to express that I agree with that post racther than posting another reply saying it.
Hello
Nice software.
I would like to put the call on hold. And that I could call another and Forward the conversation to a colleague.
We only have mobile phones at my work. When someone calls me on my Experia Ray, then I can press 2 and then press the dial. This park the call. I chose a colleague in my contacts and press dial. When he picks up the phone and I have been told that someone would talk to him. I type 4, then press "dial". This connects the two to communicate.
If I choose "telephone keypad" so I can do all these actions with myphoneexplore. But it takes a long time.
I have tried to create a contact called "Hold". And then I gave the phone number 2. But the phone does not receive the command when I try to park with this fictitious contact.
My wish would be if in the pop up window is a button which can park the call. And then I could call a contact in my contact list. And then forward by pressing another button. It would be smart if it's buttons, which we can program with a value.
I wonder how difficult it would be to enable the Contacts list to have a filter setting to show just selected contact groups?
I have a contact group called "Archive" that I use for old contacts that I'm unlikely to need again. On my Samsung Galaxy Note I can hide all members of that group, which works very nicely.
This might also be useful for people who have groups for "Work" and "non-work"?

When using the keyboard from the Contacts or SMS standard apps (for example), I get this very useful behaviour : -The first letter of a line is automatically an uppercase ("shift" is automatically pressed before you type the first character). -After a dot (.) followed by a space, the next character is automatically an uppercase.
I upgraded to the latest version of MPE, and discovered you have added that feature.
Thank you very much !
Hi there
I've been following the MPE project ever since 2007 and I gotta say, its been amazing watching the project grow
I would like to request an old feature that was abandoned by Sony Ericsson when they transitioned into android: Built in Bluetooth HID "Remote control"
I was wondering if it is possible to implement bluetooth remote control functionality like native bluetooth keyboard and mouse into android phones (Bluetooth HID) so that you can remotely control a PC (windows/mac/linux) or PS3 with your phone or if not natively, through the use of MPE client and MPE for PC
Most Sony Ericssons had this functionality built into their pre-android phones which added much convenience when watching movies, flipping through power point slides or checking things from a distance but for some reason this functionality disappeared as they transitioned into android and currently all Bluetooth HID apps on the android market are either incomplete (Blueputdroid), abandoned (AndroHid) or require the assistance of a add-on PC product (Unified remote)
Adding Bluetooth HID natively to android would most likely require root access, but using the MPE android client and MPE PC app as the server should be able to circumvent that
Hi thanks for the MPE program, I liked the MPE and made a paypal donation to help.
It seems like the Notes app in android has a small size limit, many of my long notes in Microsoft Outlook are truncated after I sync them to my android and view them in MPE Notes. I was horrified to discover so many of the Notes were incomplete due to an apparent size limit in the MPE notes app.
The other problem is that every time I EDIT any notes, it takes me to the bottom. Due to the way Microsoft Notes works, my newest notes edits start at the top. If possible, please provide an option in MPE Notes android app to start at the very top of a note when the user edits that note.
PLEASE:
1. Add Contact Photos to: Messages-Conversation and Calls - Very Usefull if You have alot of Contacts...! (do the same popup "with photo" as it done in Contacts-Phone)
2. When New Contact added from Calls or Messages - if click on Sync Icon at the Top - Let it Sync Contacts as well. Now You need to go to Contacts and Sync there...
3. Add ability to Reply by cl-icking(choosing) any(IN or Out) Contact messages - now You need to find only IN message (if it exists)
4. Extend ability to Add new phone number to Existing Contact in Calls and Messages - now You can only Create New one.

You can make this using the Windows Task Scheduler with the correct command-line parameters to MyPhoneExplorer. Please read the FAQ.
I've searched the FAQ. Please include a link. Is it in the English section?
Thanks
1- having the possibility to filter call logs just like we can filter messages in the SMS panel.
2- keeping all call logs no matter how far back they go: I have the feeling that the Called list is incomplete.
3- making the filter feature uniform: the one in Notes takes a different form from the one in Conversations for instance, which is kind of weird to me.
4- either avoid using relative labels like "yesterday" or regularly force an update of labels: depending on the time passed since the last sync, "yesterday" might actually be several days earlier.
5- after a recent upgrade of my HTC Desire to CyanogenMod, I've noticed that having the MPE client connected by bluetooth can drain the battery in less than five hours. I normally need to charge it once every two days with CM7. With HTC Sense, it was once every day. I know it's not the bluetooth being turned on that is causing this poor battery life as I have made that test. I think it's the client and PC program talking constantly to each other that is draining the battery. I suggest the talk be limited to actual events that are actually happening.
First I just want to thank you for this great soft. It was a long time I was looking for a synchronization with Outlook without using GMail synchronization. Great job.
What could be a great feature, it's a support for creating new "phone profile" for calandar and contacts. For example a personnal profile and a professional profile. I think that the Android SDK will support it through APIs.
The problem is the following. I'am using an Android Phone (Galaxy Note) that is my personnal phone, for professional and personnal purpose. I would like to be able to synchronize my personnal contacts and calandar events with my personnal PC and my professionnal contacts and calandar events on my professionnel PC.
I could do it with a GMail account but I also don't want those information to go on Web servers where I don't have control on the information (am I paranoid ? ).
Hope it will be assumed as an interesting feature for your soft.

You can sync your professional (Outlook?) calendar with the "My phone" calendar (that's the default calendar account on your phone), and your personal calendar using a Google account.
That's what I do : I have 1 pro account and 3 personal calendars synchronized.
By doing that, your professional data will not be upload to Google servers.
