In general the reminders should only fire if the alarmtime is today (which is not the case in your screenshot). Which reminder date you did set ?

I have two users set-up on MPE (for my wife and myself) and the only way I have found to determine which is the 'current' user is to go to 'File > User ...'. Could the current user be displayed in the title bar where you currently have the menu tree displayed? It would just remove a little "hassle" in the way I use MPE.

MPE is fantastic especially as it even offers Phone Control, all without rooting. Can I suggest that a Multi-sync button would be useful on the GUI?

As you know MyPhoneExplorer does show a sync-button in every content page for the current page only. A additional MultiSync-Button would be not intuitive. But i made huge access for the MultiSync:
- Menu-Extras-MultiSync
- systray icon-rightclick-MultSync
- global Hotkey, you can define it in the settings
- for Windows 7: rightclick the taskbar-button->MultiSync

Thanks for the response, I knew about the other two but not the right click task bar. as to being intuitive that, I guess, is a personal thing; to me it would be intuitive which is why I suggested it. However it's a small point and I love the app. Such a relief after that c**p Kies that Samsung ship.

It would be great to be able to right click on a number in the messages window and have an option to add the number to contacts.

Request copied from "Syncing outlook to android without google" (it really makes sens in my opinion)

1. Settings - > Sync -> Contacts -> Outlook2003 -> Advanced ->Exceptions
Possibility to select phone's contact-accounts to be synchronised with Outlook (subset of contact-accounts synchronised with MPE).
MPE groups localy contacts by contact-account names - very cool feature. However, contacts from all contact-accounts (set in android's MPE configuration to be synchronised) are collected in one Contacts folder in Outlook - very bad for (not only) me, for many reasons (already mentioned in inital thread).

2. MPE collects all contacts from google account (90% of them are From's and CC's - people I don't even know, including spammers), even though some groups are set not to be shown in android configuration.

Just imagine the garbage my Outlook's Contacts folder is taking into account problems described in 1) and 2).

Hi...

I have an Xperia S. I have been using MPE with it - on GB. I guess nearly everything worked. But I mainly used the "Phone Keypad" coupled with the "Text Input" function.

Yesterday, I upgraded my handset to ICS. Afterwards, sadly, the three buttons (Menu, Home and Back) do not work anymore.

I also use an external keyboard sometimes. With GB, the WINDOWS buttonon the keyboard served as the Home button but now it's no longer the case with ICS.

I guess it's something to do with ICS soft menu button algorithm. Is there any chance it can be fixed on the MPE? Or do you already have it fixed? My MPE version is 1.8.2.

I have 2 suggestions:

a) Please autosave outgoing sms in Sent folder. Or provide a setting for user to select the default value.

b) The Send SMS window used to retain value of "Save successful deliveries in Sent Item' in last version (1.8.1). The current version does not do this. I have moved back to previous version as I almost always forget to tick this option and I must have a copy of Sent Messages. If this is deliberate, please provide (a), or else please fix.

c) Please provide a cancel option while multi-sync is in progress.

it does not recognize the terminal emulatoor or BTEP (2 different apps) as TEXT FIELD =(

It might be an idea if when copying and pasting a number to the call window MPE was programmed to ignore brackets and hyphens, it would make it quicker not to have to edit when copying say from a browser window.

In the particular instance that appears in the screen capture, I did set the reminder for that 1 hour event to 30 minutes before.

It might be an idea if when copying and pasting a number to the call window MPE was programmed to ignore brackets and hyphens, it would make it quicker not to have to edit when copying say from a browser window.

Or any non numerical character that is not "+".

I've noticed that the 1.8.2 MPE client on Windows removes any leading zero that appears in a phone number after a country code. I have had that a lot with phone numbers from Côte d'Ivoire, where countless numbers start with "04" or "09".

For instance, I add a number "+2250987654321" and MPE changes it to "+225987654321", which unduly shortens the number and turns it into an invalid number. The only way to circumvent this unwanted behavior is to edit the number using the contact app on my HTC phone (running Andoid), which in turn leads to a sync situation where I have to NOT FORGET to select the "phone" version of the contact as the correct one to keep.

I guess it's because the phone number is stored as a "number" type of data instead of a string, but it's very annoying.

Feature request: support for large resolutions in the image transfer wizard. My phone is an HTC Desire with 480x800 and the current max seems to be 700.

Feature request: support for USSD codes (e.g. *100# or *101*) in the call monitor.

Currently, when a code is dialed on the phone, the monitor opens up on the computer as if a call was to be active but the codes don't start phone calls – they shouldn't be monitored, which explains why the call monitor opens up and remains open forever after. xxx 'Cancel' in the monitor doesn't do anything either and closing the monitor window leaves the MPE's icon in the Win 7 taskbar with a phone overlay.

@southcot: I'm on a French version and I have no labels that look like what you've indicated. Could you explain the feature? Is it the virtual keyboard? Or the phone screen? (screen capture)
