Problem with load information from old telephone to new one

Hi, I have loaded up information from my old telephone to the program on my computer and trying to get it to my new phone. When I click on the synchronise (sorry my english) button the program responds that it "can not connect because it can not connect to the com3. It can not find the gate." Please help, it is rather mouch info from my old telephone =o)

first of all, how do you want to connect (WiFi, USB, Bluetooth)?

In case of USB, did you install the drivers for your device?
Did you follow these instructions?

Hallo again, and what a fast answer! =o) I hope I have done it right, I was following instructions from the Sony Ericsson support, they told me how to connect. There was one question that they told me to click of, and click "never ask again", it wouldn´t surprise me if it is there the problem is... Maybe I should delete the "my phone explorer" ikon on the phone and than load the app again?

still don't know how you want to connect (USB, Bluetooth, etc.).

Just saw in your answer you have a Sony Ericsson device.
Is it an Android device (you wrote something with that MPE icon on phone).
In this case...
Did you set the option in MPE settings that you want to connect to an Android OS (not SE modem)?

Sorry, I missed the part about connecting. I want to connect with USB and yes, I set the option to connect to an Android OS.
