Question For Everyone: Is WiFi Working For You?

I love MPE, I have been using it for three years or so, mostly with SE W580i and it has worked amazingly well via bluetooth. Now, I have an Android SE phone. I cannot get WiFi to work reliably. I can sometimes sync messages, but files just stop copying and it disconnects abruptly. I have all the "avoid" features turned on in the client and in MPE. My Firewall is open to trusted networks. I have tried a fixed IP, but it doesn't work either. MPE occasionally connects but most often cannot find IP address of the phone. If I reboot everything (phone, pc, router), it works for a little while but balks even then on file transfers.

Am I alone in this? Are others seeing WiFi problems? Please reply to this post and let me know your experiences with WiFi and Android, particularly if you had troubles and how you fixed them. I really want to make this work and perhaps some ideas from you guys might help me.

As mentioned in http://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17198 the new beta client works for me at least in limited trials. I put up this poll to see if possibly it was my phone. Network issues are not normally a problem for me; this one was a complete mystery.
