MyPhoneExplorer is not able to compare the contact picture so you have to make a change in another field of the contact to trigger a sync

I'm sure I've said this in another thread but ..... I change ROMs on my phone quite regularly and one of the first things to do is to re-load my contacts and calendar. So I'm loading them from Outlook to an empty phone so the first 'sync' downloads the entire contact list. But no photos - even though they were present on the phone before I wiped it clean for the new ROM. If I then delete the contacts with pictures (I've currently only got a handful with pictures) and re-sync, those contacts get re-loaded but this time they have the pictures with them.
Anyone explain this?

@dvhttn: I cannot explain this issue cause i never was able to reproduce it, but it seems that on some phone the photos are not linked correctly on the phone if they are added when the contact store was empty. Other users had the same problem when they did restore a backup
@all: I did explain this endless often. Its not possible that MyPhoneExplorer is able to detect photo-changes but they are synced if there is another diffrence in the contact. In the next version i will add a new button in the contact edit window so that you are able to transfer the photo from/to Outlook manually

I'll reply to my own "issue". Discovered that if I change ROMs and 'initialise' MPE on the PC by using the 'download entire' button when the phone has NO contacts in storage I can then sync with Outlook and all pictures get downloaded the first time.

FJ:
How about a "FORCE UPDATE/OVERWRITE ALL" option for contacts (with Backup option?)
