FLASH SMS feature disabled on ANDROID wifi connected phones?

Good day.
I noticed today that, FLASH ( eyes only ) sms are disabled when connected via WIFI to an android smartphone.

Instead with a S.Ericcson phone connected via USB the icon is present :





Why ?
