Recovering Data
Recovering Data
I recently changed phones from HTC Evo to Samsung S3, and I've had problems with My Phone Explorer ever since. Laptop is XP Pro, syncing to Outlook 2003. When syncing my calendar, with BOTH checked off, with a date range, My Phone Explorer deleted many appointments and contacts, both in My Phone Explorer and in Outlook and on my phone. I see them in the log files, and I want to recover them. Is there a program or app that will import the deleted items found in the log files?
Just import the file into the contact list and/or calendar. Rightclick->Import/Export->Import...
And for the next few syncs you should enable the sync confirmation window so you have full control what MyPhoneExplorer will do with your data.

Other issues
Yes, importing from the log worked. When doing this, I was offered options, which I think were eliminating duplicates (import by date/time, etc.--I don't recall the options). I mistakenly chose to ignore these options (option 1), and now I have duplicate appointments.
1) is there a way to delete duplicate appointments based on the same date, time, and subject? There are programs to do this in Outlook.
2) I exported MyPhoneExplorer to ical (?, .ics?) format, then tried to import that into a fresh PST Outlook file, but Outlook 2003 didn't recognize the format. Is there a was to export MyPhoneExplorer appointments to a format that can be imported by Outlook?
Thank you!

1) currently no possibility to find dupes automatically
2) its not the issue of MyPhoneExplorer when Outlook has problems on import. MyPhoneExplorer does export the items based on official standards. But you should try the *.vcs-Format too.

ok, THANKS. I'll try the .vcs format. After importing my calendar into Outlook, then maybe I can remove the dups there using other program, and then resync using myphone explorer to get the dups out of MPE and my phone.
