Galaxy S4 - can't connect to MPE

Used MPE for about a year on my Nexus One and love it.

My situation is different... no WiFi at my office so I use my phone Data. I either tether via usb or can run WiFi Hotspot on the Galaxy S4 and connect on my PC with a DLink DWL-G122 to the WiFi HotSpot.

New phone arrives and can't connect... to anything. Called Samsung and was told to download Kies for the current drivers. Done. I can now tether via USB but can't connect to MPE. Tried WiFi HotSpot and MPE says it can't detect my phones IP address.

Any suggestions?
