How do I restore Contacts after google userid is changed?

MPE is working very good at syncing my Contacts with PC.

I want to change my Google Account-name on the device and delete all contacts via www.gmail.com.

After that, I will have a different Google Account on the device. I am not sure if I will loose my contacts on the device. I do NOT want to sync anything with Google servers and that is why I want to: 1) use a different Google Account, 2) restore all my contacts, then 3) delete the old Google Account.

All contacts are currently saved on the PC via MPE. Will a sync operation via MPE and the new Google Account on the device restore all the contacts to the device as desired, or will the contacts be deleted in MPE on PC - NOT desired?

Any advice on how to proceed is warmly appreciated.

Create a backup or export your contacts from MyPhoneExplorer. When you restore the backup or import the contacts back then the contacts will be created in the contact-account you have selected for new contacts since the original account does not exist.

I would like to add the following information for anyone else that might come along.

If updating from android 4.1.2 to 4.2.2, you must update your Android SDK platform tools to 4.2.2 in order to obtain the updated 4.2.2 adb.exe. Otherwise MPE may be unable to access your device.
