Yes, it was the latest PC Suite - Sony_Ericsson_PC_Suite_6.009.00_Web_ENG.
It's weird, because I surely synchronized my contacts into the phone via PC Suite.
I'll try another PC as soon as I get all my laptops back and firmware update as well...
I'll be back when I know more...

I have the same problems, and I know, that I could synch the contacts with the PC-suite a couple of weeks ago without any problems.
I think, the problem ist not the PC-suite - it's the actual SATIO firmware

I also think this.
Please guys: Do much requests to SonyEricsson so that the will take a look at the problems for the next firmware.

FJ, it's unbelievable!
Few minutes ago I was able for the first time to synchronize all contacts and calendar-data with MPE and SATIO.
The strange thing is, that I have changed nothing on my system - same SATIO-firmware, same PC-suite. I have just installed the latest version of MPE.
The snch today also runs with PC-suite. Very, very weird... I can't understand it.
FJ - you're doing a exelent job!!!

Luck for you. But the whole topic maks it very hard to do straight-forward-development.
By the way: I heart there are problems with special-characters on sync. Can you confirm this ?

Huh... I just deleted pairing on my Satio and created new connection using PC Suite's How to connect and...here it is - PC Suite syncs and allows me to read ALL data on the phone - contacts, calendar (messages worked even before).
So I install the newest MPE nightly build, search for device (it's surely on a different port), but it's pretty much the same. Call lists and messages work, bud calendar and contacts no luck..
However, there is no longer OBEX error 00, but 01 - unhandled error...

Did you use USB-Cable or Bluetooth ?

Bluetooth... should I try to use cable? For some unexplicable reason that didn't come to my mind at all..

Sorry...it was just that one time... now I get 00 error NO CARRIER again... even with USB cable...
However PC Suite seem to work normally.
Strange thing though - I tried to create new serial port in my BT device settings. But I cannot create an outgoing port with Satio. It works with K790i but with Satio I get "This device does not have serial port service running" error. Do I need an outgoing port?

MyPhoneExplorer should use the "Outgoing port" - which port you are using at the moment ?
To fix the NO CARRIER-Message it helps to restart the phone.

I've tried restart many times - no luck..
I only created an incoming port, but strange thing is that everything works normally - system monitor, memory status, call listings, messages. There's only problem with Calendar/tasks and Contacts.
However I seem to have some progress. I went around my BT software and created new connection to my Phone via Control Panel - Devices and Printers and it created both incoming and outgoing port.
So I tried sync and:
- Calendar sync OK
- Notes FAIL
- Contacts FAIL
I'll send you an email with debug file via email -
