Is there anyway for emails to be included in the messages? or even given own section?

@jabao_ron: Account checking. The problem is that every provider has its own way to get this info. Your suggestion would work with Orange but with no other providers.

For Multisync you can specify a global Hotkey, CTRL+K will be added in the next update for the keypad.

@brazilius: I#M not sure - did you ever tried to send a message to +7-960-30-27-043 ? I#f i remember right then MPE should check (and convert) the number before sending.

Hi. First of all, great program. I've been using it for more then a year now and my next phone will probably be SE just because of MPE.

As for the request, I'd like MPE to automatically lower the volume in Windows Media Player (or any other media player, but WMP is present in every Windows except the N editions) when a phonecall is received. Or made. Or pause the playlist. Or pause it only if it's a video....or just lower the system volume....whichever can be done. It would made answering the phone much more relaxing


P.S. Miranda plugin would be nice too

Also, option to disconnect when battery reaches critical level, say 10% would be nice.

2) I don't think this is needed. If you are connected over a long time via Bluetooth then you should use the option "Disconnect after 5 minutes inactivity"

The option to signal on "Inbox" and "Sent Itens" the messages that were already archives.

Or.. when copying to archive and the warning that some of the messages were already in the archive appears, there could be an option to only copy messages not stored!

But I don't want that. Most of the time when I'm at home my mobile phone is connected to the charger and I want it to be coonected. But sometimes let's say before I go to bed the phone is right next to me and not chargng and I'm just too lazy :) to get up and put it to charge. And during the night the battery will surely drain, and that means no alarms, no incomng calls etc.....But that's not as important.


Got another idea. Maybe people would find it useful to show battery and/or signal status in system notification area.

I know i can create NEW NOTES but where do they go?

Other thing... the message archive is almost non searchable (no filtering, just keyword search?)

Its not possible to read out the notes. Often explained in my forum.

The messagearchive is searchable by keyword - i think this is enought.

Sorry, my mistake - i mean You might make at least those notes made by MPE don't disappear.

That's far from enough. Some filtering by "FROM / TO" and/or "entered KEYWORD" and/or "selected time frame" would be very handy. In the present form the archive is barely usable. Necessary features can be done using simple listboxes, checkboxes and editboxes.

For example: user wants to see all messages from selected friends ("name1", "name2", "name3") concerning impressions after (date after 6 march 2007) watching the movie called movie1 (keyword "movie1").

I just recently purchased a HBH-PV705 BT headset to connect to my SE V630i. I'm wondering whether it is possible for the MPE monitor function to monitor the headset battery level, connection status and current firmware, either by directly connecting to the headset or by retrieving this info via the V630i?

Can you add search for message sections. I want to find some old message but you don't have this option, it will be very useful.

OK, but there is no SINGLE PLACE to find all shortcuts and NO SINGLE PLACE to define ALL shortcuts.

One would thought it should have had been placed in SETTINGS -> ADVANCED 1

Another thing - there is no way to create a NOTE during phone call? User can make an appointment or create alarm using entered note edit box but... the user can't just save it as standard NOTE?

Third thing - pressing DELETE while particular DAY is selected in CALENDAR doesn't delete anything User have to select the day and then select particular event and then press DELETE. Lots of unnecessary operations.

Near every comman app uses CTRL+F for searching in content + it can be also found in the menu. Thats COMMON - every app handles it this why so also myPhoneExplorer will handle it this way. There are alot of more shortcuts ywhich are not known by you but this is not interesting for me. A possible solution could be a helpfile, but i have alot of work with developing so i will not write a helpfile.

- i have my own concept
- MyPhoneExplorer is not your personal gift - i wrote it for everyone
- I will not implement every wish which is posted. Or did you think also Microsoft will make changes in their software if you write a mail to them ?

Notes can not be added during a call cause some phones crash if a filetransfer is initiated while calling. The note will be also saved in MyPhoneExplorer in the Call-List so its not lost.

The Delete-Key in calendar is basicly a good idea. But what should i do if there are ruled events on it or if there are in general more events in it ?

Total Commander (the most popular file manager on Windows) uses F7 key to search in it's viewer but that's not the point.
The point is that HOTKEYS could be totally configurable or not at all. You made it partly configurable. That's confusing and there is no single HELP PAGE with HOTKEYS.

Hotkeys settings page would also do the job.

It's just a discussion and I express my point of view. AFAIR I have never used the statements "YOU HAVE TO" or "YOU SHOULD" or "THE WAY TO DO THIS RIGHT IS", but I may be wrong. It took me a lot of time to write posts here. It's your software, I just tell you the options I see. You express your point of view in your software.

Was trying to be helpful. You should say so if you wanted me to stop pointing out the annoyances and bugs.

It could be scheduled for writing AFTER PHONE CALL.

I don't want to be seen as a NAGGING person so I'll keep my mouth shut unless you revoke that statement of yours.

You can configure in MyPhoneExplorer only global Hotkeys - thats a important diffrence. Global Hotkeys must be configurable so you have no problem with other apps. I added just this moment a new post into the FAQ: Shortcuts for MyPhoneExplorer

I'll check the thing with the notes out again with all phones i have. To wait up to the call is endet is not a good solution cause many people (i am also one of them) disconnect the cable while calling so they are cable-free.

Maybe i choosed a hard word with nagging, it was not OK from a objective view. But please understand me: I waste all my free time for this Project, i build great features and all what i hear is:
- this works not correct
- this is not common
- this little thing could be better

Its frustrating that its never good enought.
So please forget this comment - i will see what i can do.

[EDIT]: I enabled now uploading notes during calls. We will see if i get questions about crashing phones . The delete-key has now also a function in the month-view

Has anyone tried a new release in Vista. The function to decrease system volume does not work correctly for me. It only decreases volume for MyPhoneExplorer app (since in Vista mixer is changed significantly) and not the whole system.

(I post this here because we discussed this here recently, if there is a proper bug report thread for this release feel free to move it there)
