Another thing I'd be pleased to see implemented in the next version of MPE would be emoticons just like in Yahoo! Messenger. I use emoticons ( ) ) X( ~X( >:D< and so on) a lot in text messages and would be great to see the image of the emoticon instead of text for the stored messages in the phone and the computer (archive). Replacing text with emoticons in realtime while writing a message would be a nice feature too.

This is already implemented. It works in the message preview and while composing a message but not in the list.
I looked deeper into your problem with the archive, but i could not find the reason. The sort itself is a feature of the listview-library, and i cannot debug the listview. But its a interesting bug, maybe i am able to reproduce it with alot of testing....

My bad. Had version 1.7.3 installed. Version 1.7.6 still has that list-view bug.
Can I somehow add or change the emoticons and/or the corresponding text?

I don't think its possible. Anyway you can export the messages of MPE into various formats.

When synchronizing ToDo tasks with Outlook, scheduled date of the task is not synchronized - only remainder date (if exists). Are there any plans to add synchronization of the whole ToDo body from Outlook, including Start and Finished dates?

The Start- and Due-time of the Tasks in the phone are not supported from all models, besides this they have strange rules with calculating them (f.e. Due-Date cannot be set before Start-date). Cause of this i did not implement the sync of these values.

i feel like an idiot asking this question, but i have synced my old phone which is great, but now i have a new one, and want all my sms´s contacts aso on to my phone...

How about an option for exit confirmation in the composer window when there's text entered? I've more than once accidentally hit esc or crossed the window.

first, great job with new MPE for Android ^^.

I have a question : "my contacts" under Gmail count 139 persons.
But in MPE, all the contacts appears (218) instead of "My contacts", is it possible to see only "My contacts". These contacts are those who are shown on Android Phone.

And finaly, I want to know if MMS can be displayed with Android Phone ?!

Hey FJ, Thanks for adding Android! I can now at least consider other phones besides SE. Wonder how much SE sales will suffer now that MPE users have a choice?

This is not a feature request but I was wondering if you could add to the English FAQ the list of the ini switches that can be added and their functions? I just mean the ones that are not automatically added and maintained by MPE.

I'm using MyPhoneExplorer with my SE w660i.
I'm trying to sync my contacts with computer.
After that I realize that many of my contacts' name which contained symbols (☆⊙□▽△▲) will not be shown.
Is it my own problem or software problem?

FJ your software is truly amazing! I love every bit of it ! Its amazing work !

However I wanted to suggest a feature.. Have you seen the 'Conversation' feature in the modern SE phones ? of course you mustve seen it. You can also introduce this in your next update. You can have a TabPage control showing normal inbox/sent messages just like now, and have a Conversation mode.. in which sent & received messages are sorted person-wise and then datewise on the same page. Like the C905 model.

Anyway great software ! All the best for future versions!

@itzfaraz: Conversation view is already implemented, but only for android-models. Problem on "normal" phones: Its not possible to read out the sent-timestamp so MPE cannot build up a conversation
