Hi,

I enjoy MPE and I really like the functionality 'Silent mode on active connection' on my Android phone.

However, I would like to see that functionality improved. I would love to have this setting listed twice -- one for sounds for incoming text messages and one for incoming calls.

The reason being, that I do not want to miss a call, but text messages are not critical to be notified of instantly. This setting would be very usefull when working in a quiet office where you do not want to disturb you colleagues more than absolutely necessary.

Thankfully I believe this would be fairly easy to do?

Thank you for this great software. It is really useful.
It would be very nice to make a possibility of automatic reconnect via bluetooth. Everything is ok until the device BT is off or out of range. When it is back it would reconnect automatically.

Is this a forthcoming facility? It is needed and useful.

ooops the facility i asked about was the date and time of sent sms in the same way as recieved ones.

It would be great if when the phone is linked to the pc, it would sync in real time - if you add an appointment in Outlook on the pc, it automatically is added to the phone; also, any changes you make are synced as they happen, rather than having to do another sync before disconnecting the phone from the computer. Thanks for great software it works brilliantly. Keep up the good work.

This software is absolutely superb and syncs my ZTE Blade and Outlook 2003 brilliantly. One option i would like to to show or hide the calendar in MyPhoneExplorer, as for my purposes I do not need to see this in order to sync.

Thanks for this great application and all the work put into it. This is one of the best applications out there which offers a comprehensive android phone management suite .

An option to create contact groups would be nice. Also, the "Notes" option syncing doesn't work properly.

I would like first to thank you very much for your brilliant software which I use with an SE Xperia Arc.

As it would be a minor upgrade, would it be possible to have MyPhoneExplorer handle some very useful but missing contacts which are simultaneously supported by Outlook, Google Contacts and the Androïd contact application :
- other address (currently home and business only handled)
- home fax and pager telephone number (leading to 7 phone numbers handled)

Regarding the client part, the very welcome option for choosing the display order of transferred contacts (First Name, Last Name) or (Last Name, First Name) does not work (my phone runs Androïd 2.3). Other options (as the accounts to synchronize) are not saved.

I would be grateful If these suggestions could be handled in a further release.

It would be nice to support several numbers of same type. For example, some of records inside my contact list contain 2-3 mobile phone numbers, and only one of it shown in MyPhoneExplorer.

I would be great if one can move a contact from an account to another one. For example, moving a "Google" contact to a "Phone" contact. Currently you cannot change the account if the contact is already created.

Technically, you could perhaps create an account #2, copy all information from account #1, then remove account #1. Doing this kind of operation for multiple contacts is a pain in the... well you know

I like the possibility of remote controlling my phone - but there is one thing what I miss: is it possible, if one selected the "Screenshot" to be shown, that the screenshot can be automatically updated after having pressed a button (within the remote control)?

I know, the pic lasts approximately 5secs to be loaded, but that's no great deal for me...

hello, i tried to use MyPhoneExplorer on Motorola Defy phone. I save my contacts using First name, Middle name and Second name, but when I tries to syncronize or edit contacts in program there are only First & Second names (or Given & Family names) and i can't edit middle name. Wish I could view and edit all contacts information.

Hi, first of all, my phone explorer = best software ever!

Now I was wondering,
would it be possible to maken an iPod Touch application, that would connect over bluetooth to your cellphone, and have it send SMS, all from the ipod?

In fact it would be doing the same as a computer running my phone explorer and having the cellphone linked through bluetooth.

This would be VERY useful because it would turn an iPod Touch almost into an iPhone!

If this would in fact be possible (which I doubt if it wouldn't be),
I think You (and your team?) would be the best people for the job!

This app would make a lot of people happy and I would happily pay for it!

If the app store for some reason wouldn't allow this, I'd jailbreak my device and BUY this app on cydia.

It would be great if we could use our phones sensor info on our PC for uses.

For instance the light sensor could be used to dim the monitor.
The temperature sensor (on some phones) could be used to regulate fan speed at drastic levels, or even use for some X10 applications.
Great for the status conscious green earth users.


Right now bluesoleil has something called aLock which i use a lot that lets you lock your pc when you walk away using bluetooth.

Stuff like this.

Just thought of something else too, the gyroscope and or rotational sensors could be used together for EQ sensor projects like those seen on PBS...

Thanks for a great application. I was about to give up on finding software that would let me keep contacts and calendar on phone and some app on PC in sync (I have been a Palm user for many years) without going through some internet go-between (like google). Security concerns as well as concerned with what if I don't have internet connection available.

Initially this worked with MPE and Outlook but when I started syncing with Outlook on both home and office PC I started getting duplicate entries. So now I use MPE on both PCs instead of Outlook and no problems.

Really appreciate this as I have now (pretty much) migrated from Palm to Android. Still have some issues needing Notes and Tasks apps that sync between phone and PC but doing some work-arounds for now.

A few more hotkeys would be nice. Particularly in the Call Log screen & the Messages screen.

A hotkey to "CALL" the currently hightlighted number.

A hotkey to "SEND MESSAGE" to the currently highlighted number.

And of course, the same hotkeys would seem to need to serve the same functionality in the MESSAGES window.

- Reset SMS counter per month (or week or whatever the user sets it too): useful to keep control of how many sms one has sent. It can come with a log showing the sms counter for past months.

I love to view MyPhoneExplorer Phone Contacts, with all the columns, across dual-monitors and I can see at a glance missing inconsistent info, etc in my address book.

However, there seems to be something buggy when I sync it with my HTC Desire... and hence towards my Google Addressbook. What I have to do is ONLY change my Google Addressbook first.. then HTC Desire update.. then MyPhoneExplorer update.

Anyway, my feature request is to make use of the birthday if the year is not filled out. I notice MyPhoneExplorer only recognises DOB is the year is present, otherwise it is blank... when it's definitely filled out in Google Addressbook (just without the year).
