When creating multiple messages, in "Sent" folder you can see just one recipient, not all. Maybe you can multiple the message in sent box to as many messages as recipients are, with each recipient's name assigned to another message copy. That would be just great! It would be very convenient for afterwards filtering and compiling conversations.

Its not possible to save a message with multiple recipients on the phone. The only compromise would be to create a message for EVERY recipient. And based on the limited storage of older SonyEricsson-Phones i decided that its better to store only the first recipient

I think sending v-cards would be very convenient. I don't see how could one more command jeopardize simplicity. Just go to desired contact and among other options choose "send as v-card" . Of course, if it is complicated to make, then I understand....

Tried this already long time ago. It is very complicated cause the SMS has to be sent as binary message with special flags and even then it can happen that the recipients phone is not able to work with the data

I would love to see an option to automatically open chat window on incoming SMS.

Hmm, don't you think that you have then alot of small chat windows ongoing when EVERY incoming message will raise a new chatwindow ?

Near all data are already on the phone so it does not make really sense. The SMS-Archive can be transfered throught Menu-Extras-Create/Restore backup

I have to reset my device (Samsung Galaxy S2), and i have all my backups organised: SMSes, application data, etc. BUT i can't find any app (that lasts longer than 14 days!) which can backup and restore the settings for the 8 email accounts that i have configured on my phone.

A normal app has no access to settings and data of other apps. You can do it with Titanium Backup but for this you have to root your phone

My desktop computer has static IP and it would be great if I could access it from MPE client on phone or tablet, i.e. to be able to initiate connection from android device (MPE client) to server (desktop).

What would be the sense to do this ? The whole concept of MyPhoneExplorer is controlled from PC, every action is done on PC

I'm suggesting this again, sorry: please add some sort of permanent filter to the contact list. AT LEAST, "only display contacts with numbers". Since I began using gmail contacts, it gets pretty messy because gmail saves every contact you send an email to and, of course, I don't need email contacts for MPE, only contacts with numbers :/

This would it make even more complicated to identify problems on sync cause its another step where the user can make fails

It is most essential to support the dual sim Android phone like samsung duos 7562 etc.
There is no setting in MPE to set the sim for sending sms. I think it is sufficient for clue to genius.

Sorry, there exists no refrence about the interface to the Dual SIM functionality. Besides this every brand has its own implementation. I cannot buy every DualSIM phone to adapt it

Do you mean the warning message that the images will be deleted ? If yes - in the next update you will be able to disable this message.

@tony_ts: Group management is already there. You can assign contacts to existing groups, you can create new groups and its also possible to send a SMS to all contacts of a group (take a look at the yellow Start-Button to left of the recipients-field in the window "New message"

I would like to have a pop up reminder for MPE tasks and not only an update in the message center.

FYI: I use Notify Plus to have designer reminders but this app cannot find MPE Tasks or MPE Notes in the list of apps.

Is there anyway to speed up this very cool function? Its abit laggy no matter if I am on USB or WiFi.

Also it would be nice if you could put in a shortcut on it like Shift+F5 or something to start Control Window.

And third thing is that it should have refresh automatically as default, or it should at least remember my setting. Now I have to tick it each time I open the Control Window.

Is it possible to disable automatic replacement of the first two zero in phone number on "+" , see below:

It would be nice to be able sync just some items from synchronization confirmation window. Now I have options: use phone, use Outlook, merge and never sync. I would like one more option something like "skip for now" and be able to decide next time. Now I just can abort whole synchronization or do it for all records.

In general the MPE-icons are very self-explanatory.
But when I'm in a hurry, sometimes under files/filesystem I click the 'Upload fils'-button instead of 'Up' one folder - but that's my bad
But I would like to be able to switch around the last two groups of buttons - I have a theory, that will minimize my error-clicks...

I'm aware that MPE at this point doesn't handle contact-photos actively - I'm okay with that. But will await a major release that changes this

Until next major release, would it be possible to add a function to the 'merge contacts'-tool, that allows the user to pick which photo will be used for the merged contact?
Right now if contacts are merged, the resulting merged contact can be without a photo even if only one of the merged contacts contain a photo.

Feature request: could we also have the seconds (hh:mm:ss) in the phone call list?

I currently have "dd/mm/YYYY, hh:mm" and I'd like to have "dd/mm/YYYY, hh:mm:ss".

I would like to have an option for selecting all SMS:es in the conversation view without having to open all the conversations one by one. I have over 100 contacts/conversations with SMSes linked to them, so if I want to make a backup of all SMSes in conversation mode/view, I have to open all the conversations one by one. That takes about 40 minutes.

I would like to have the message that asks whether to overwrite local text messages (SMS) gone for good. Actually, I don't get how there can be duplicates of messages in the storage area on the PC. Maybe that it's actually the handling of duplicates that should be improved by not creating duplicates?

Also, can we have a means of automatically archiving SMS? so as to limit the SMS messages that are left on the phone? Based maybe on the age?

I wondered if you had any thoughts about porting the "desktop" to android for tablets and enabling bluetooth, wifi or usb (I have an Acer Iconia with a USB-A port) sync/exploration?

The faq is good for providing connecting instructions, but it does not explain all the available settings and options in MPE and how/when to use them. Having a manual/documentation and step by step instructions would be very helpful, especially to beginners like me. Will also cut down on support questions!

For instance, a common condition: how to maintain a 3-way calendar sync between 2 different android devices and a windows laptop - without passing through Google. Step by step.

If I copy-paste the Russian name of the field in the First Name in Last Name, I get ???????
If I at least once, type the field in Last Name the Russian characters, the program then working normally (also copy-paste)

Don't know whether this has already been asked for: FJ, could you please give an option not to use any file cache? I for one have rarely needed an in-cache file: I either copy the file to the phone or from the phone, but only once. The only thing the cache does for me now is take up space in my AppData folder, which is under continuous backup… Yes, I have ticked the checkbox to clear the cache on exit but my use case is that MPE fires at system startup and closes at system shutdown.

Another option would be to let us specify the cache folder. Thanks.

I was using a Nokia X6 before switching to an Android phone for work and like the Nokia sync options

My wish list is very small

1. When conducting a sync could you make it so I don't have to approve every change to my contacts or calendar?
Maybe have a setting which you can choose for example no more than 5%, 10%?

2. Have an automatic sync option say for example every hour or every two hours ?
