I am still not able to reproduce the problem. Can you tell me please all your timezone-settings (Outlook, PC and phone) ?

All time zones are set to U.S. Central time, in Outlook, Droid X, PC etc.
Very strange. Thank you for working on it.

I'm still working on this issue not only with MPE, but also another app. I have tried many changes to pc time zones, DST patches, time formats, but 'All Day Events' still show up a day early.
I wanted to note that for a while I used Google calendar sync and it works just fine. All day events are synced normally. However, I really don't want my calendar uploaded to Google, so continue to strugge with this issue.
In my many searches I note that this problem has come up for Apple, Google and on many smart phones. I suspect there is some coding issue which those folks have figured out which MPE and this other app has not. Just run a search for those topics and you can see this problem has been around for a while.
I will post a solution if I come across one.

OK. The problem exists between Outlook<->MyPhoneExplorer. I tried to reproduce it but no chance. It worked for me, no matter which timezone i did set.

This is so frustrating. For the last month or so I have been using Google sync to keep my calendar up to date. Google sync works just fine with All Day Events.
However, I really don't want to have my information on Google, so once again decided to try other ways to directly upload my calendar to my Droid. I got another app similar to yours and had the exact same problem. I know I'm not the only one that has run into this issue since some other folks have the same problem.
I just wanted you to know that I am having the problem with MPE and the other app, but not Google sync. Strange! As I mentioned several posts ago, Google and Apple have run into this issue with earlier sync releases. I have yet to find a post anywhere explaining the problem.

FJ,
I use mpe on a droid x and sync contacts with virtual windows image running win 7 64 bit with outlook 2010; which is part of offic3 2010 pro.
I was going to start synching calendar entries.
Would you advise that I wait till this thread is resolved or proceed?
Thanks,
K

I am using Windows 7 64 bit with Office Pro 2007. I am not sure what virtual windows image is.
The only problem I noted with my sync are any entries that have the "All Day Event" box checked.
I have not been able to resolve the issue with this or another app I have tried. Google calendar sync works just fine. I just don't want my personal calendar on the web, outside of my control.

The problem has been solved with the other app. In an effort to help MPE, it turns out the problem was not with the app and outlook, but with the smartphone based up and the Droid X. I don't know what they did, but their tech support was able to solve the issue. My phone now syncs just fine with the calendar and I no longer need to use Google sync.
You might turn your attention to the handheld app to see where the problem might be. I hope you can solve the issue. Good luck.

Hi rudy81
Are you saying that you couldn't get the all day events to work with MPE ultimately?
I'm having the same issue...

Correct. I was never able to get MPE to work correctly with my Droid X.
The other app I'm using works just fine now. I initially had the same problem and working with the software owner we were able to solve the problem. I don't know specifically what it was, but it was a software issue with the app on the Droid itself. He fixed it and released a new version which works like a champ.

In my case, I have a birthday set for Jan 1 in Outlook. After a sync, it shows up on Dec 31 in MPE. After the next sync and twice on my X10 running 2.1. A subsequent sync now puts the Dec 31 birthday in Outlook. I now have it appearing 3 times, twice 1 day early in MPE and once correctly. Other birthdays show up a day before. Other all day events duplicate on the same day.
Settings are set to bi-directional sync.

Rudy,
I just thought of something. Even though I do not want to sync with Google calendar or contacts, I DO have a google email address. When I installed MPE on my phone, I went to settings and did not know how to answer the questions on what to sync to. Are you using a gmail account? If so, maybe you can help me with the configurations on this.

Yes, I have google e-mail account since I use a Droid X. On my phone, you go to the phone's system settings and use the Accounts tab. Then select your google account. Then you will be able to select the sync options for Google. I do not use the contacts or calendar on Google.
