I can confirm it no longer dies. I am new to this product (I expected a "phone" account like for contacts), I deselected all calendars as I don't want any existing calendar touched, press "OK", go in again they are all ticked... If I leave one ticked it works, HOWEVER, if I go in again if I make changes they are not STICKING, if I deselect the originally chosen and choose another and come back its back to the original state.
Same thing with "Add new Events to".

This is normal. MyPhoneExplorer does not create its own account. It does sync existing data/accounts from phone with the PC

It seems some people here are connecting the Galaxy Nexus with USB.
Where did you find the ADB driver ?
Thanks.

I too will be using MPE with a Galaxy Nexus.
I assume the correct install procedure is install the desktop software and then follow the link on this thread to install the beta phone-side software from that link? Then turn off the "google sync" on the phone itself wherever that is?
Two other quesitons. Did I read somewhere correctly that somewhere within the MPE software you choose which "data bucket" (i.e. google contacts/calendar, "phone" contacts/calendar, etc.) the program syncs to?
I ask because if I also setup an exchange sync for my work calendar and contacts, will MPE be able to keep my outlook PST sync separate from my android-direct exchange sync? Is this possible and is there anything special I need to do to make this happen?
Thanks. Looks like a great program.

I have not yet added an exchange account to the Nexus until I know for sure if MPE will keep the contacts/calendar/tasks/notes separate once I add an exchange account.
However I can report another successful Galaxy Nexus sync via wifi. I needed to let Google "think" it was syncing in order to "create" a blank calendar because MPE would not work until I did. Then I turned off the Google sync and ran MPE. I ran it separately for contacts, calendar, notes, and tasks as I have not figured out how to run them all together.
I have not validated all of the data yet but at first glance, it seems to be there and good.
This is a very quick and great response to keep it working with ice cream.
Will definitely be donating toward the future of this program.

Use "Multi-sync" - that syncs all the different items (Contacts, appointments, etc)

Thanks, I dug down into some forum posts and figured it out.
Now if I get my other post answered about exchange and MPE together I am all set!

Same problem - I think.
Moving from HTC Desire to Galaxy Nexus - I 'restored backup' created from HTC but restored to GAlaxy Nexus.
Contacts & Messages went fine - Calendar appeared to go (it said it was creating entries) - no enteries in Galaxy Nexus.

CPSS....when you selected your calendar from the phone client did it say "null" or "google". That was my initial problem. Once I let google create its calendar and used the beta version of the client, calendar sync'd like a charm on the Nexus.

Using Client v 1.0.14 - If I go to settings -> Calendars to sync it stops.
I have downloaded the beta version from an earlier post as mpeclient.apk and was wondering how do I install it on the phone?

Getting "+" signs on out-of-area-code numberes

CPSS,
I am far from an Android expert but you need to download the file directly on your phone by using your phone's web browser. It should que up for download and then install. Look through your apps for MPE and the notes and tasks clients. The desktop client is the same one from the website.
Also, I did notice that the beta seems to have the "+ sign" issue where it inserted + signs in front of all of the area codes that are outside of your local area code. So the phone won't dial those.
I saw that this issue was fixed in an earlier version but appears to be in the version posted here to work with the Nexus.

Many Thanks
I did the following on Samsung Galaxy Nexus
1. unistalled standard version of MPE
2. Set Settings -> Security -> Unknown sources -> Allow installation of non-Market apps
3. Downloaded on phone from
www.fjsoft.at/mpeclient.apk
4. Clicked on download notification (Top Right - pull down screen from top)
5. Started Install
6. Restored backup (calendar only) from PC (Agreed it was a different Phone)
7. Reset Security -> Unknown sources
I have restored calendar from HTC Desire to Samsung Galaxy Nexus
With Best Regards
Charles

Just wanted to confirm that the beta client 1.0.15 beta11 appears to have fixed the problems I was having (OBEX D0 error). I'm using a Samsung Nexus S with ICS 4.0.3, syncing against Google and Outlook 2010.
Thanks for all your efforts.

I am familiar with your search function and reviewed before sending my question. Here is where I am at i have performed the uninstall/re-install on my Nexus S phone .have V1.0.15 beta 13 and I am not getting synch to work with Outlook 2007. I am not an expert at all when it comes to resolving these issues. I am not sure if I am running the correct version, or if 2007 is the issue, or if the download of ICS to the Nexus S works differently then the Galaxy Nexus S.
Please Help,
Where are the Notes & Tasks?

Hi,
I'm new, great App, great forum. I was running into problems and found most of the info in this thread.
Phone: Samsung Google Nexus (ICS v4.0.1)
Connection: WiFi & USB
MPE: Desktop - v1.8.2 / Phone - v1.0.15 b13
Windows version: Win7 Pro (64 bit)
Info on the release of v1.8.2 mentions "Tasks and Notes including Sync (you'll get seperate Apps on the phone)"
I used Multi-sync but I still can't find either Notes or Tasks on the phone after sync.
Is there an App I should be downloading?
Thanks in advance for any help or comments,
S.

The latest MPE beta (1.0.15 beta13) still won't let me choose calendars, if I try and return to the setting then calendar I selected is unticked and the FIRST calendar (AFTER my email address one) in the list is ticked.
Only if I leave all calendars unticked and reenter will all calendars be ticked and they will remain so. I'm only wanting to choose one calendar as its dedicated to outlook as I don't want it to touch my existing calendars at all (I've had many sync issues on other products in the past).
Just noticed also can't choose "add new events to..." calendar.
