Database friendly export
First of all, great software - really well developed.
I have been trying to backup my text messages to a mysql database.
However you CSV export feature does not add any Line Termination Signs.
I would be easier to import cvs files if this was added, which hopefully should also be very easy to implement.
An ever better solution (though much harder to code) would be a file containing sql insert statements.
However I would be most pleased if just the first feature request was added.
Thanks again for a great application.

Database friendly export
I am not sure what you mean.
Anothinger thing I have just bumped into is the use of quotation marks within a message makes an automated import of the CSV export difficult.
What I mean is that when a CSV export is made, is should be checked for the use of " and then insert an escape character fx //" and at the end of each line a Line Termination Tag should be inserted fx ::END:: or something similar.
I hope I have made myself clearer this time

The csv-Files are Excel-optimized. Linebreaks inside data are not omitted, they are replaced with a single 0xA0. Open the file with excel and you'll see that everything is displayed perfectly. Tags like ::END:: doesn't match to csv
Quotion marks: They are escaped already in Excel style. " becomes on export to ""

I have managed to work around the line break issue as well.
Now the only problem left is with the
smiley which of course is interpreted as a field end.
Any way, I wont take any more of you time with this problem.
My final feature request will therefor be an option to export directly to sql statements.
Thanks again not only for a great app but also a quick response on this forum.

Uploading notes
Uploading works fine but is it technically possible to upload a note and set it as "show in standby"? I know you can't access notes already in phone but i wonder if it is possible to set it while uploading.

Updates
1. Can you create automatic update downloader?
For example, you can calculate checksums for core files, upload them to a ftp/http server, and updater will look at them and know are current files up-to-date or not.
Current update checking requires user to manually download installation packages, but automatic downloader may can download only required files.
2. File cache isn't cleared/rebuilt automatically after file is deleted from phone (via phone functionality).
3. If you choose "upload java midlet" in file manager, CommonDialog appears.
If the phone is unplugged then and transfer begins after phone is disconnected, cycling error messages appear.
(DCU cable, emulated COM port)

Sidebar glitch.
I know its a third-party ActiveX and you cant modify it. But you may find replacement for this.
You have expanded, for example, Organizer and Files panels and are currently in Files. You want to go back to calendar. You press "Organizer" again but nothing happens, only panel is collapsed.
Yes, I can click at the subitem ("Calendar") instead of xxx header("Organizer") but its very uncomfortable.

Phone calls in the Organizer
Hello,
I use a SE W810i and it has a neat feature where you can add phone calls in the Task list. I couldn't find this feature in the MPE 1.6.4, it is only capable to add notes in the Task list.
Adding phone calls in the Tasks is a very good thing because you can get reminders and you can initiate the call with one click "Call" on the phone.
It would be very handy to implement this in MPE as well because now I have to search for the partner to call on the phone instead of having a convenient one-click call.
Otherwise MPE rocks! I'm really impressed. Keep up the good work.

New feature - phone keypad "silent mode" button
Hey
I just wanted to propose adding button to "phone keypad" for turning "silent mode" on/off.
It would be a very handy feature (in spite of possibility of changing the profile to "silent").
Greetings!

First of all thanks for such a great app.
And secondly a request: Could you add support for sync with (Windows Live Mail)
Thanks in advance, whatever your answer is!
