I'm have same opinion as Cor - sorry.

I cannot implement every wish from users - not cause i'm to lazy for this. I want to keep the software so simple and fast as possible.

Hi, i have a z500 phone and i can only donwload java apps if i disconnect a k300 phone without select "Disconnect" in MPE, and then connect my z500.

After that, the button to download java apps stays there, and can use it without any problem.

Can you add the z500 to the list of models than be able to use that function or leave the button for all models with an alert saying: "Doesn't works on all models" ?

Yes, i understand your wish to keeping the software as simple as possible, and i agrre completely.

Thats why I suggested a check box in the preferences to enable/disable this feature.

A checkbox is the wrong way cause it works only on some old models.

Thats odd, cuz I see lots of other checkboxes in the Preferences

Notes cannot be synced, I know.
But the SE PC Suite allows user to sync notes with Outlook.
Why can't MPE use the same feature?
May be 'coz SE uses some proprietary technology?

Hi there!

I have a feature (change) request.

As of now it seems the command line "action dial number=N" can only accept numbers, and not "number strings" with pauses.

The phone on the other hand lets me store contacts with pauses in their numbers.

I want to be able to run a script of mine to use my phone to activate a service which is done by dialing a number and pushing some numbers.

I do this sometimes dozens of times a day, which is why I wrote the script, but unfortunately I can't get MPE to accept the generated "number-string".

More specifically I want to have it accept and run something like this as a normal call: 80080800p11223344p2p88558855#1234

Dialing 80080800, pause, 2, DTMF 88558855 hash 1234

This the phone does on its own, but MPE needs to allow it.

You helped me with the annoying steal focus issue and we got the norwegian number lookup working. Can you make this happen too? I might donate to you a second time!

@agnijith: You are not up to date. For Notes-Sync i have to implement a new protocol which makes much work. Notes-access is planned for the next major version.

@GomiBushi: In this case the problem is basicly the phone. If i add a p-char in the dial command the phone will remove it. I know that MPE cuts the p also, but i have tested it a while ago with the phone and it didn't work

How about implementing it as a series of button pushes?

I could script this to push the actual MPE keypad and add pauses in the script, but that is a bit "unelegant" and I would have to lock my computer for other input for a good while.

Any chance you have a way of sending a series of button-pushes to the phone that accepts p or that MPE can just pause?

I know this is a very special need so I understand if you're not doing it. Can't help but ask though!

is it possible to add feature to change a profile when phone is connected?
It should be useful, it is not need to use ringing while popup window comes.

@OMArt: Often discussed. It would be possible to switch the profile automatically if you connect the phone. But its not possible to switch the profile back if the user plugs out the phone. I decided that i will not implement it. But you canb use the commandline for it. Please read the FAQ

and also will it be possibile to synchronize phone with Google, Railender2 and MyPhoneExplorer at once? Instead of ComboBoxes in "Settings->sync" implement checkBoxes?

I could do this:
Run C:\Program Files\MyPhoneExplorer\MyPhoneExplorer.exe action=dial number=<NUMBER>
Sleep, 5000 ; wait while call is set up
Run C:\Program Files\MyPhoneExplorer\MyPhoneExplorer.exe action=push keys=<NUMBER>; Send button pushes

Is that possible to implement?
I could try to call up the keypad and manually make the script push the buttons, but that would be inaccurate and might "misfire".

hi FJ, I would like to suggest two features on MPE:
1) Change the system tray tool tip to show signal strength and accumulator power.
2) It is a bug: On WinXP, when explorer.exe crashes and the whole desktop refreshes, all other tray icons will be restored except MPE. I think I had fixed this on some app sometime, but don't remember how. I'm sure you know

@GomiBushi: If i have time i will add in the next major-version a commandline for direct AT-Commands. Then you can do what you want via commandline

@agnijit: 1) Battery and signal is already shown in the tray-tooltip.
2) I never heart of this problem/bug are you sure i fixed it already in a earlier version ?

Would it be possible/feasible to add a snooze button to reminders? I leave the pop-up window open when I still want to be reminded (e.g. if the thing I'm being reminded about is running late for some reason), but the pop-up keeps raising itself every few seconds, which is annoying when you're typing.

I would love to be able to just click [Snooze for 10 mins], but all we have now is [OK] which closes it and doesn't remind us again.
