We are easy to get along with huh? Thanks for shooting the messenger.

I was trying to be helpful and post a screenshot of the warning in my browser from when I downloaded the software from YOUR SITE. GOOGLE is calling your software malware.

Dropbox public is not working right? Pull the link and look at the damned picture

Now I will simply remove the software and never think of this again. You can guess what I will have to say to anyone that asks me about your malware.

Feel free to remove this account. I'm not into the abuse.

There is NO link in your previous post that I can see. Just the word 'image' (I'm using Firefox).

As for 'abuse' the poster that replied to you seemed fairly restrained, unlike yourself in your first ever post to this forum! And as for 'more people trust Google....' you're having a laugh surely?

The Google issue is fixed. The cause of this issue was the advertising screen in combination with the outdated digital signature of the setup file. I did renew the certificate and now Google detects the file as "clean".

@GtB: You can easily skip the setup of the promoted tool with a simply click on "Skip" instead of "Agree & Install". There are much more aggressive ad-screens out there. Even if "Search Protect" was installed then you can easily uninstall it throught Control panel->Software (all browser settings will be restored)

On SearchProtect

- We had it recently on my wife's laptop. Removed it manually with no problems: http://cookieverwijderen.nl/hijackers/searchprotect
