Archiving (copying and deleting) messages in one action?
Here is another wish I have:
I like archiving my sms'es, and it is so cool that I can just press Ctrl+A and press "Copy to archive" (or whatever the English text is, I use the Danish version of the program) and then delete the messages.
It would be even more cool to also have a simple "Archive" button that copies the selected messages and - if the copy was successful - deletes them from the phone.
When I press the Delete button after copying the messages I am each time a bit nervous, as I am not 100 % sure that the messages where actually copied ("what if the program for some reason didn't register my pressing of the 'Copy to archive' button?"
). If I had an Archive button that only deleted messages that were successfully copied, I would be more calm.

Outlook Categories
It would be nice to have the option of synchronizing only the selected contacts categories. My contact list is too big, and I don´t need to have the whole thing in my phone.
If I create a new contact folder in outlook, and copy the contacts I want to sync there, when I change them on the phone and re-synchronize, I end up with my changed contact in that folder but not in my main contact list.
Using categories, I could use the same contact folder for the phone and my main contact folder.
Thanks for this great program

Make the OK button default when editing a SIM contact
When editing a SIM contact, the OK button is not default, so I have to tab down to the OK button to be able to press it using my keyboard (using the space bar or Enter). It would be nice if pressing Enter in any field was exactly like pressing the OK button. I guess making the OK button the default button would solve this.

... but then, if i want to insert a CRLF in my message,
(and i don't think on CTRL+Enter or SHIFT+Enter)
the half message would be sent.
No good idea for me!
Better to make the send button following in tabindex after the
textbox.

If it was my request you answered, you misunderstood it... I was talking about editing SIM contacts, not writing messages...Mr. Deauville hat geschrieben:... but then, if i want to insert a CRLF in my message,

But actually, when writing messages, I think a Ctrl+Enter shortcut for Send would be very nice. This would be just like the shortcut in Outlook for sending e-mails. That would be cool!

few enhancement requests
1. Notes are not imported to MyPhoneExplorer. Would be great if we can see them on MyPhoneExplorer
2. Please add Indian Holidays
3. Calendar syncing with google hangs if there are more entries
4. Templates - SMS should be synced and edit facility would be great
5. View last sync-log in setting opens up an email editor. That should be stopped

@Jesper: i Will fix the OK-Button. Use CTRL+S to send the message
@freedinner:
1. Technically not possible
2. Its your job, there is a link on the english downloadpage how to do it
3. Check your internet-connection. I don't think it hangs - it takes only long to load all entries
4. technically not possible
5. MyPhoneExplorer opens the default html-viewer - so it depends on your system-settings

Thanks!FJ hat geschrieben:i Will fix the OK-Button.
Thanks for the tip!FJ hat geschrieben:Use CTRL+S to send the message
I don't think I will use it, though, as Ctrl+S almost always in Windows means "Save" and not "Send", and so my fingers (=my intuitive sense) will get confused. So I would still suggest adding Ctrl+Enter as a keyboard shortcut to align with Outlook, Outlook Express and probably other e-mail programs. Ctrl+S would in my opinion be better used as a shortcut to "Save draft" (as in Outlook and Outlook Express) - that would be more intuitive, if you ask me.
By the way, in the Danish translation, I have taken the liberty to add an ampersand (&) before the S in "Send" (the Danish word for "Send"

How come, then, that Sony Ericsson's PC Suite can synchronize Notes with Outlook? I have done that recently with my K750i, and it works fine... Do Sony Ericsson have secret ways for doing that, circumventing the standard interface?

@FJ
freedinner is right: Viewing the last sync-log in the settings opens the default html-viewer (IE 6) AND additionally an email editor with a new message addressed to "fj.wechselberger@gmx.at"...
First I thought its a feature but I can't imagine, why you should intend to get a "hello" from anyone who's taking a look at the log...
