And just to make things more confusing, the cable that doesnt work at home, works at work on the same hub setup! AGGHHH! Anyway, I appear to have it working now, so if anyone else is having issues with the C902, mess about with your cables and hubs etc. I assure you you will eventually find a combination that works!

May I suggest you put something prominent on your site as to how to donate as the only place I could find a link was in the software itself - you should nag people a little more to support your fantastic software

You are right, a second Paypal-Button on a better place would help...
The "Nag-Screen" in MPE can be disabled after 5 times showing. Personally i hate nagscreens and i think if a user does not want donate me after 5 times using MPE then he will never do it.

how about a nag every 20 launches - that would not annoy me as a user, in fact, I had some software which did it every 10 weeks or so and it reminded me and I did eventually pay for it

Nope. myPhoneExplorer should be used without limitations cause its FREEWARE. i need the donations - thats right but i don't want to beg for it.

I am not sure if this is a C902 bug only, but I am getting a crash whenever I do a multisync and MPE tries 2 download photos from my phone.

This has only started occuring since yesterday when I took several new photos.

I am running 1.7.2

I hate to resurrect an old post, but as its a sticky on the front page anyway...
I've had the SMS failed issue since I first got the phone. I have the longer grey cable in my PC at work, connected to a rear USB port (and have tried swapping the port). At home, I've used the newer black cable but generally connected that to the front ports.
For me at least, the grey cable doesn't work, and either does the blue one. Bluetooth always works, but unfortunately this drains the battery whereas USB charges it! (plus, I don't have bluetooth on my work PC)

Is the issue still being looked into, or has it been abandoned now?

Hi, my C702 has problems syncing. The only way I seem to be able to sync is to do one component at a time (contacts, messages, calendar...) and manually 'search for device' before syncing. Since upgrading to 1.7.3 when I sync it just duplicates all my contacts!

Press once "Download entire" - where does the duplicates get created ? In the phone or in MyPhoneExplorer ?

Hi, after installing Sony PC suite, these problems seem to have gone away. Odd.

I don't think it has to do with the PC-Suite. I think it has to do with the protocol-change (for Contactphoto-Support). Cause of this MPE had to download all contacts and it synced with Field-Match (not UID-Match). This could raise duplicate-problems.

Anyway - if has now gone then its OK, otherwise contact me again.

Hi, sorry to raise a potential problem as I absolutely love using MPE.
It's the dogs doodaahs!

But.... if I send a text using MPE it sometimes does not go. When I look in my phone it's sat in the draft folder?

No big problem but it's an intermittent fault, sometimes it sends the text straight away...
