Hello.

I`m using win7 & MPE 1.7.4 & TB 3.0.
I install your plugin for TB3, but i`ve some troubles with sync.
If i sync contacts, then i`ve error message:"ErrMsg: Sync could not be initialized
339 Component 'MSWINSCK.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
Can you help me?

This has nothing to do with the Mozilla-Addon or Thunderbird.
Please reinstall MyPhoneExplorer with Admin-Access.

I have just tried the the add-on with TB 3.0.1 and get a message in the add on screen that the add-on MPE 1.0.31 is not compatible with TB 3.0.1. Any help appreciated

Please post more details; how do you try to install? The version _is_ compatible.

waited with the TB update until the compatible MPE was released... although, TB2 wasnt that bad - as i realized now...

I have TB 3.0.1, Lightning 1.0b1, MPE plugin 1.0.31, and MPE ver.
I have "Error..." "Folder structure from Thunderbird could not be listened".
Mayby because i have national character ("Właściciel") in may profile path?
C:\Documents and Settings\Właściciel\Ustawienia lokalne\Dane aplikacji\Thunderbird\Profiles

This is probably a rather stupid question.

I am in process of migrating from MS Office to Open Office, Thunderbird & Sunbird and am not familiar at all with Mozilla. I want to sync Thunderbird Address book & Sunbird calendar with a Sony Ericsson T715.

I have installed MyPhoneExplorer which works perfectly synchronising the phone with with the corresponding Contacts & Calendar files in the MPE app. I have installed the MPE - addin 1.0.31 in both Sunbird & Thunderbird and it now appears under Extensions in both apps.

My problem is that I now can't find any obvious way of starting a sync between the Mozilla and the corresponding MPE app. files.

What am I missing?

If you enable the sync with Thunderbird or Sunbird then its integrated in the normal sync (first button in Toolbar of Calendar or contacts). Besides this you can add a Sync-Button in the Toolbar of Thunderbird or Sunbird

Thanks FJ - I knew I must have been overlooking something obvious.

Now have MPE doing everything that I need. I had been using the very limited Sony Ericsson PC Suite with its very limited facilities - MPE is a vastly superior product.

I've got this working OK with Sunbird 0.9 (although filtering on the Privacy flag didn't seem to do any filtering).

Biggest problem though is everytime I do a sync or check the sync settings, I get another instance of Sunbird launched. Before I know it I've got loads of instances running. Can this be stopped at all? I normally always have one instance running anyway; I don't need any more.

Please check Sunbirds Javascript Error Console for problems. Normally, there is code in the plugin to close the new window on startup; it won't be closed, though, when there is an error.

BTW: You know that Sunbird is a dead end? There will be no newer releases.
