I am a new member and I need some help.
Here's my story.... I have the Myphone explorer and 2 cellphones (2 x K510a). I made a year ago 2 profiles for 2 users under which i downloaded everything.
Today, I screwed up (Pardon my language) and i accidentally did something that somehow made 1 user profile disappear into thin air...
How can i restore to the point where i can retrieve my wife's user profile from my computer?
Help me please for I am only beginning to learn.
Danke and thank you!

If you did delete the profile in MyPhoneExplorer then take a look at the recycle bin otherwise it would be important what you have done.
Ok

But it seems like there is nothing in the recycle bin to start with.
I do remember switching the target folders from C drive to D drive and after that my wife's profile disappeared entirely. Is there any hope that i should be able to retrieve anything or the SMS are lost along with anything else (except for music, ringtones, pics and videos)?
Is there a restore point built in the program, cause i did not erase/delete anything myself - after changing the target folder under my profile, my wife's profile disappeared ?
It doesn't make sense, i know????
Thanks

If you did move the datadirectory in the settingswindow then its impossible that a single profile gets lost. MyPhoneExplorer does move the complete datafolder, if there is a problem then also your profile would be lost.
Take a look at the old datafolder (Start-Run-&appdata%\MyPhoneExplorer). Maybe you find your second profile there.
thanks

It does make sense and I've looked inside the root directory for MyPhone Explorer, couldn't find anything, keine chance (as u say it in Austria). Anyways, thanks and if you don't have any other ideas on how I can fix this, thanks and take care.
In the event that we can't do anything, I will consider the data lost (safe for the pics, videos and some SMS and ringtones) and that's it. Now I know better (I will use the backup function).
Respectfully yours & Viel gluck
Georges
PS I tried to run the command prompt as you wrote it but it did not work, maybe I did something wrong!

And you are sure it happened directly after the "Move database" feature in the settings of MPE ? I cannot explain what happened cause this feature uses the regular Windows-Move feature. If there was a error with moving you would have get an errmessage and the Move-Process would be stopped.
- which folders do you see when you open the new database-folder in explorer ?
- use the windows search, include all drives, hidden files and folders and search for the file "SMS.dat" - how often this file can be found ?

Hi!
Sorry for the stupid question, but - as this thread is already quite old - to sum up: Are the C902 issues fixed now or not? And if no, they only appear with cable connections, not with bluetooth connections, do they?
Because I'm considering to get a C902 and just want to be sure what to expect
(Besides, thanks for the great work with MPE)
Bye
Patrick

The problems in this thread were not only on the C902, they affected many newer models. Some of them could be fixed in MyPhoneExplorer, for other problems the reason is the phone and not MyPhoneExplorer.
Phone book Sync

Greetings to all,
I have a problem with syncing my phone book. When I edit entry on MPE it does not reflect in the phone. Instead of sync it basically downloads the entire phonebook from the phone to the software.
Anyways to solve this?
Thanks to all,
Tengo

Actually it stops syncing and says in a pop-up window OBEX Errorcode: D0 -Internatl Server Error

Restart your phone and try it again. If this does also not help then choose "IRMC-SYNC" instead "SYNC-ML" in the settings.

having to restart the computer to get a connection at times is rather annoying!

This problems depends not on MPE.
1. the drivers are working not crrectly
2. or another app blocks the port after MPE had used it.
