Maybe a dual connection can be cool.
Let me explain : usb is faster than bluetooth but it needs to be connected by a wire.
I'd like an option that makes the program do this : try to connect to the phone via the usb cable, if it is possible connect else try via bluetooth.

With this I can connect my phone without plugging it and if I need speed I connect the usb cable and without any configuration the program recognizes the phone via usb.

I don't know if it is clear so ask if you don't understand =)

I use MyPhoneExplorer to sync my phone with Outlook, and then Google Sync to Outlook with Google Calendars. MyPhoneExplorer does a much better job than Google Sync. I particularly like seeing what is going to be done before it happens (unlike Google Sync). To complicate things I also sync my wife's phone with the Google Calendar (using MyPhoneExplorer). It all works well but I wish I didn't have to use Google Sync at all.

Any chance of getting MyPhoneExplorer to sync Outlook and Google Calendars?

No sorry. MyPhoneExplorer is a Phone-Tool and its not my job to create tools for syncing between other apps. It was hard enought to make the Sync stable between the phone and Google.

for Google,Yahoo and Mozilla platforms it functions great.

Chinese characters are displayed correctly in the SMS List view, but when double xxx the SMS message, all I see are '????' in the SMS window. Also, when sending SMS, it is not possible to input Chinese characters. This is problem is for both Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese characters.

Please fix or add support for Chinese input. Thank you!

Thank you for developing and maintaining this great application.

A feature that I wish MPE had is being able to answer the phone and talk through my PC's headphone and mic. This way I would avoid disconnecting the usb connection put on my hands free and so on ..

This request has already been made in a thread with the above title but I guess this should be requested in this thread.

@ebo: Your request has nothing to do with MyPhoneExplorer. Throught the USB-Cable its not possible, but it works throught Bluetooth if you are using the WIDCOMM-Software.

Feature "Disconnect after 5 mins inactivity" should be improved.

After 5 mins mobile is disconnected - that's right.

But I have active Auto multi sync with exiting program.

During exiting there's no attempt to connect mobile although it could.

Please, fix this.

The settings for Autosync is called "before closing MyPhoneExplorer (on active connection)" - MyPhoneExplorer does exactly that what it says.

Sorry, you're right. So, what about adding auto-sync feature which iswhen disconnected too.

Some subsetting under "before closing MyPhoneExplorer (on active connection)" would be good.

Something like "run if inactive"

This is not the right way. The reason why it can be set only on active connection is that MPE would block Windows if you want to shutdown your PC cause the device could not be found at closing.

I tried this a week or two ago as I thought u would have already implemented it ages ago!

Can you please add this? Or is something in the way like bugs?

In addition to what I just posted, I know you can use command line parameters and simply select the connection method of your choice (which I currently do) before starting MPE. But could you make it search for USB connection before resorting to Bluetooth when just 'normally' opening MPE?
