Let me explain : usb is faster than bluetooth but it needs to be connected by a wire.
I'd like an option that makes the program do this : try to connect to the phone via the usb cable, if it is possible connect else try via bluetooth.
With this I can connect my phone without plugging it and if I need speed I connect the usb cable and without any configuration the program recognizes the phone via usb.
I tried this a week or two ago as I thought u would have already implemented it ages ago!
Can you please add this? Or is something in the way like bugs?
Keep up the good work mate.
I miss this feature too as long as I use program. I always must go to Options and change it manually. It's bored.
It can be realised like "Search for device" button, aned it could support these processes:
1) Manually sort count and order of ports that I want to try to connect. If there won't be possible any port than report fail.
2) Always try to connect port which was used during last connection.
In addition, there could be special icons in main panel, that allow quick change of connection port.
Times of waiting to response on each port should be shorter for faster identification.

I thinked alot of this request and i can understand the sense - but i'm afraid it makes "normal" users confusing if they have to set up more than one COM-Port.
Did you know about the possibility to pre-select a port throught commandline ? You could make two diffrent links on your desktop. One for USB and one for Bluetooth.

Thanks for tip... but...... what about another Advanced menu. Normal users ignore them. Or add Advanced button with menu to Connection options.

Connect Esc in Phone keypad to Back key on phone?

I just discovered the Phone keypad function in MyPhoneExplorer, now that the useful new function of typing text on the phone is available (this is so cool!).
But I find myself intuitively pressing Esc every time I need to press the Back button on the phone - but this just closes the Phone keypad window, which is definitely not what I want!
Couldn't the Esc key instead be connected to the Back button on the phone? It would be so useful, as the Esc key in Windows very much resembles the Back button on the phone in functionality - which must be why I intuitively press Esc every time I want to press the Back button on the phone.
And you can still close the Phone keypad window with Alt+F4 (and maybe also Ctrl+W, which is a half-standard for closing windows inside programs) or by xxx the red cross on the top right.
Best regards,
Jesper Hertel

Its only possible throught Bluetooth if you set up your PC as "Bluetooth-Headset". This has nothing to do with MyPhoneExplorer

Every once in a while I lose my sync connection to my phone and when that happens there is no real way to abort the sync with MyPhoneExplorer. You just keep having to click and click and click until all the failed transfers time out.
It would be great if there was a button to abort the sync so MyPhoneExplorer would just quit without trying to send every record to sync.

It's The Queen's English - Not The President's American.

Can I make a request for future versions please?
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dump your American spelling of the Queen's English.
Words such as CENTRE are spelt as I have just typed it - not center.
It's only a minor irritation but it would be so easy to correct.
It's called English for a reason.
PLEEEEEEASE?

The English languagefile was created from me. My english is a mix between school-english and internet-english. Besides this there are some years gone since i learned english in school
Feel free to inform me about all mistakes and i'll correct them, but please do this via email. I think this thread is not the right place for it.

Thanks.
I am shamed by those who have learned English as a second language because, like most English people, I cannot speak any other language (apart from a little Français). I partly blame our useless schools.
Respect to you.
I will compile a list for you over the next few weeks to help eliminate the Americanisms and I will forward it to you.
