Hi, I use MyPhoneExplorer for a long time.
And I have 1 problem, I buy 2 á 3 times in a year a new SE mobile phone.
Now I make a back-up from my old phone connect my new phone and then I use my back-up to install all my old data to my new phone.
Now I have always to create a new profile for a new phone, so what I will is a function if I connect a new phone to the MyPhoneExplorer he ask me if I will create a new profile or use the old profile and put all data to my new phone.

I've just received my C901, but it doesn't get recognized by MyPhoneExplorer.

Is it supported? Can I fake something to get it supported?

thanks for this great software i must say
it's alot easier to do synchronization with it than the one provided by SE

anyway
what i wanna suggest is
for messages or SMSes sent out through My Phone explorer
is it possible for it also to be recorded down in the "sent item" section?
it looks weird when i achieve my messages and and the sent item sections has nothing!!

in the send-message-window is a checkbox at the bottom named "save message to sent items" or something like this. If yu activate this sent sms are saved at the phone

Sorting of Notes like in phone

Sorting of Notes in phone is by last editing date. Its a little bit confusing when I'm used to have one order.

It should be the same order like in phone.

But still optional sorting by name could stay. It can be useful.

i know its confusing, but its not possible to read out the last-edited-date. For notes i can read/write only the plain text.

Please use the search. There is no version for the XPERIA and it's not planned to make one for it.

When sending sms it´s not possible to differ private from work by symbol/icon. Would be great with same symbols as in phone do seperate the three different available entries.

Some other wishes, already suggested I guess:

Complete config backup - great when upgrading or changing phone.
Alarm editing - read from phone, and all available options.
Back up/edit Code Memory

I don't know what you mean with this.

Cause the other 3 wishes: They are technically not possible. There is no access to this contents on the phone.

There are three different entries dedicated for cellular numbers for each contact:
Mobil: (common, mostly used I guess)
Mobil (P): (privat/private)
Mobil (A): (arbeit/work)

In the phone there are also three different symbols....the cellphone, the cellphone with homephone symbol and the cellphone with workphone symbol.

When sending sms from MPE the numbers all have the same common cellular symbol...you can´t differ the numbers from each other (unless you memoriezed them...like you did in the 80´s:-))

There is no space (and personally i think) also no need for a second icon in the list like in the phone.

Well, ain't it possible so....I find it really inconvenient though.
As now I, for some contacts, have to choose from two or three different numbers without knowing which is which. The only solution is to switch to contact list, open contact card and copy/paste.

I checked the behavior. I did remember wrong. There is not enought space for 2 icons in the Autosuggest-List for the Dialwindow. In the "New Message - Autosuggestlist" there is enought space. But it would be not good to show the results in a diffrent way on the two lists.

Hmm - i'll try to combine both icons so that they need not much more space...

OK, the idea with combined icons looks good. Your request will be implemented.

this has probably been asked before, but here are the only 2 things I can think of:
1) number display format. I'd love to be able to select how I want my numbers to be displayed. Numbers in my country are XXXXXXXX, almost every person spells them like XXXX-XXXX, but I love it the French way :p XX XX XX XX. Cellphone numbers have 2 more extra numbers
That would be awesome, specially when I have to look up a number and call with my home phone. Having cellphone numbers 2 extra numbers I have to copy them to a text document and split them because I go crazy

2) Minimize to tray. I know of the little button next to the minimize button, but I want to click it in my task bar and minimize it to tray. It would be faster and I wouldn't have to maximize the window every time I want to send it to tray!

1) There are so many numberformats that it has really no sense. its impossible to split up national prenumber and endnumber caus ethere are two many diffrent formats. You must think global

2) In the settings you can select "Minimize MyPhoneExplorer to tray instead of closing when click on X" or similar. Select this setting, then you can also minimize MPE in taskbar with rightclick->Close window

If possible, add function to synchronize profileimages by facebook like iphone and windows mobile applications.

The software is GREAT already, but with this function even better
