whoaaa... thanks for the fast response
i even didn't finish to edit my post when you reply
1) Actually i never use thus kind of application, so i didn't know that it can do the job.
I just thinking that if you can use one app for many task, it would be great.
Yeah, but you are right, it will make the app more complex and even called bloated software.
I like the now MPE, lightweight and do the job well.
2) For me, it makes sense since i'm using an old phone
I regret that you couldn't make it.
But since you are not specialized in J2ME App, what can i say
however, i would to say thanks for the fast response
and for creating this great software

its great software

You can control MyPhoneExplorer throught commandline. A addin-Interface is not planned (strategic reasons)

Many people leave MPE running maximized in background. It is very unfortunate that it doesn't reconnect using bluetooth being in minimised state. I don't mind it displaying 'reconnecting' dialog and freezing for that time. That's a fair price to pay for staying up to date with inbox content. You do realise that now all people have to minimise MPE just to let it reconnect and keep messages updated? Not everybody want it to run minimised. One added option in settings could change that behaviour.
What do you think about it?

This i not a optional task. cause MPE trys to reconnect every 10 seconds the program would be freezed the most of time.

Not a problem - the time delay could be configurable in settings.

No, i don't like this idea. one more senseless setting.

At least we could quit making binary patches...
Possibility to hang up if recipient is busy

When making a call where the recipient happens to be busy the "Call monitor" dialog disappears and a message is displayed in the taskbar saying that the recipient i busy.
Since the "call monitor" is no longer visible I can now not hang up the call without actually pushing the hang-up-button on my physical phone. This is of course a small but still very annoying problem.
If the "call monitor" would still be visible or if there is some other convenient way to hang up the call it would be appreciated.
Otherwise thanks for an excellent software.

Hi...
I want to suggest a feature in phone explorer... I apologize if this is suggested earlier....
While my phone(w800 ) is connected to Phone Explorer through bluetooth.. can I record the call on the computer????? I see a call monitor window while i'm in call ... Can we have a record function in that utility ?????

This is not a task for MyPhoneExplorer. First you have to route the voice to the PC. It works with some BT-Stacks (f.e. Widcomm). Is this works then you could try to record it with TotalRecorder.

FJ, I know this is out of your area...
but do you know how to route the audio through computer... I have searched all over internet and got no result... i have bluesoleil 6.2 installed in ma computer and its not detecting my phone in any audio device.
Also I'm not able to make the computer recognize to my phone as a bluetooth headset so that I can make call through my computer.
I hope ur knowledge may come handy in this situation...

As i said - not every bluetooth-stack supports this. Bluesoleil does NORT support this service. Widcomm does support it - its called there "Audio Gateway". Widcomm is then placed also in the devicemanager as virtual soundcard. Please open a new thread if you have further questions in this task.

Please make it compatible for W395

It's technically not possible. It depends on the phone and not on MyPhoneExplorer.

sorting, search, messages window

Hello,
how about adding a way to search for unfinished messages in sms archive? ( field To/From, ie. space, or some char would select contacts with space and not send/unfinished ).
I'm using sms as a quick note, instead of notes - i like to have creation timestamp. I can set column sorting to time - but then unfinished smses get mixed with those send/received. Or sort by From/To, and have them at the bottom of the list but with mixed dates. Of course it can be solved by creating temporary subfolder, moving all unfinished sms there, setting sorting by time column, but yet i find this solution long, and little annoying.
Cheers, K.

You can already sort the messages by From/To
