Connected to the screen always open? Why?

Its a known issue - or better workaround - and i try to find a better solution for it.

background: Some models break the Wifi-Connection as soon the screen goes of.

Same problem with back-light on HTC Desire.

If I press the power button, the screen turns off, Wifi-connection is not affected.

Tried before. But, a few minutes after the re-opening.

Oh I thought it was only affecting my phone ....

Just to confirm, this also happens on the Motorola Milestone/Droid.
