Migrating from SE C902 to Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000.
Saw plenty of global issues with Galaxy USB connections so tried wireless connection instead.
Connected Galaxy S to the local wireless network.
Started MPE Client on Phone and it connected to the local wireless network.
Changed settings on MPE PC Client to connect via Android wireless.
Selected sync.
Phone detected.
New user set up.
Synced calendar successfully.
I copied the data from the C902 to the Galaxy by simply copying the database files to the new folder.
On Windows 7 the database files are held on C:\Users\yourID\AppData\Roaming\MyPhoneExplorer\yourPhone
Backup the Galaxy folder then copy from the C902 folder.
It all seems to work fine now.

This is the worst solution i ever heart and i wonder that it worked for you. please use the next time Menu-Extras-Create/Restore backup
