There is a bug with sending SMS through MyPhoneExplorer. I am currently using version 1.4.24 with SE700i.

When I send any SMS directly from the software, although it gets delivered to the recipient and shows in my sent items. (Both in Phone and Software). No delivery reports are updated in the SMS in phone.

However if I send the message from the phone I get the delivery confirmation as well as a tick mark on the SMS icon.

This happened with this as well as earlier version of MYPhoneExplorer.

Hy - MyPhoneExplorer has no access to the icons in the phone. A message sent from MyphoneExplorer was never marked with another icon inside the phone if the delivery-report arrived.

Is there a way to create a log file with delivery reports on the PC?
The reason is that sometimes i send the message and I look away from my monitor and don't see the "baloon" with confirmation, so I don't know if the message was delivered.
Or is there another way to see if the message was delivered?

You don't see the balloon ? Why ? The balloon is showed until you close it

baloon dissapears in few seconds...

This is not good. There is no way to archive the delivery-reports

how about making the baloon into a window, just like messages

is it possible that when you go to sent messages properties and there would be an info about delivery?

Maybe i have an idea, but first: Do you get a real balloontip (with round corners) or a ownerdrawed (this is with normal corners) ?

round corners. Just like any other windows notification

MyPhoneExplorer can also create a own balloontip (if the user use Win98 or the users has deactivated balloontips). Create a DWORD-Value with regedit in Name of the Field: EnableBalloonTips
Value of the Field: 0

After this MyPhoneExplorer will create the own balloontip which cannot be closed from Windows automatically. Bad thing: I have no Vista to test it, but i think with this Registry-Setting you'll get no more ordinary balloontip (from any app). In XP it was a tweak to that the balloontips are not showed

Let me restart my PC and I'll let you know what if it works.
