X10 mini pro will not sync via wifi connection (USB works)

I would like to sync my Outlook calendar and contact via wifi connection.
Downloaded MPE client on market and started sync via USB. Then tried to sync via wifi. The computer and the phone are connected to the same network (router via wifi). Have tried to disable the Windows firewall and also downloaded a MPE client beta 1.0.7 beta 13 that I found when searching for this problem (did not make any difference). Any suggestions?

Run Android 2.1 on my SE X10 mini pro. The search time for wifi connection during sync is very short.

The USB sync works very good, but of coarse needs a cable and wifi would be simpler i think.

it works fine on my x10 mini (android 2.1).

What does the client in your x10 mini pro say? Are you connected to wifi (not system info, I mean the info in the client)?

The client says connected to wifi and shows the corrcect ip adress that my router also shows.

did you try to enable "wifi" instead of "autodetect" in "connection options"? Maybe (not very hopeful though...) this might help.

If this doesnt help please post debug log!

I got my wifi to work by switching it from autodetect to wifi.

I sync'd once via wifi, reset it to autodetect, closed and reopened it and now it works with wifi under autodetect.

Note: you have to stop then restart the phone explorer on your phone after you change your settings on the desktop.

Have tried to put it to wifi and the client says connected to a certain ip, but not found by the MPE when trying to sync.

Any more suggestions?

- ensure that no firewall blocks MyPhoneExplorer
- ensure that the Router allows to find local connected devices (UPnP or similar)
- start the client on phone before you want to connect

OK, so I think the problem is UPnP of my PC. It is a company PC where the UPnP setting is set by a policy, which I can not change.

In the next version you will be able to enter the IP to your phone manually
