Obex protocol could not be initialized

For a while I am now using MPE with my Sony Ericsson U1 Satio phone. I like MPE much more then the standard SE application to sync the phone.

Bu I get an error that I can't get rid off: "obex protocol could not be initialized"

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software, tried another version but nothing seems to work. Somehow I have this error now and can't solve the problem. It reappears everytime.

What can I do about this?

perhaps the debug log would help to really determine the cause of the error, but I go so far as guessing, that this might be related to bad connectivity over USB! I had similar problems with my usb cable in the past.

try one of these:

1) Connect via bluetooth
2) Plug in you usb cable in another USB Port (try not to use passive usb hubs!)

Did anyone of these hints help?
If not, please post debug log!

The Satio is a "special phone" - it has a very buggy software-interface. Do NOT use Bluetooth-Connection for this model and post the logfile after the errormessage appears.

It is problem post logfile, cose MPE froze - not responding, after that error message. Need restart. After restart it is still problem with start obex, synchronizate or read short message and contacts. the problem is still repeating.

You can open the logfile manually directly after the crash: %appdata%\myPhoneExplorer\Debug.txt
