Connecting GalaxyS

Hello,

- GalaxyS
- USB connection
- MPE-version 1.8.0
- Windows 7

I've just dowloaded MPE as I was getting upset in trying to sync Outlook and GalaxyS via SamsungKies. I've read the section about how to use MPE with an Android device but I got lost when you start to say:
"3. Download ADB Driver (look up the Linklist below for further instructions)."
Where can I find the ADB driver for my GalaxyS ?

Do they not get installed as part of the Samsung Kies software?

Its described with link in the FAQ. You did not see this ?

Galaxy (Kies) - http://www.samsung.de/de/support/detail ... l=software
(Use a CAB-Extractor to extract the file "SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.exe", after this go to the command line and prompt:
SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones.exe -quiet -r -p:16)

FJ I have seen your post in the FAQ but the link is in german and I do not master this language. Moreover, I am not familiar with the terms "use a CAB-extractor ...". I have never done this. This is why I probably need more assistance than other. Can you help me with more step by step assitance ?

Kies not available for US users

Kies is not available for some Galaxy S users... I have a Captivate. MPE is not loading all contacts from Outlook 2010
