Hi all.
1st of all i'm sorry for my bad english.
I'm using My Phone explorer 1.8, htc desire and wifi connection.
Everything is ok, but i can't see uploaded files on my phone (pictures, videos, mp3). No matter where: dcim, main directory etc.
Thx for help

Are they also missing if you use a filebrowser like Astro ?

No, they're on sd card. When i connect phone with cabel - they're too, but my phone doesn't see them.
If i upload like "pendrive" with cabel - it's ok.
If i upload with "htc sync" - it's ok.

OK, this means the media-database does not detect the new files. If you delete any file after you uploaded something then MPE Client does start a full-scan, does this help ?

Eh, no

it doesn't help for me.
I like MPE so much and i can't transfer files.
Is it problem with 1.8 or my phone?
Only 1 alternative that I know is HTC sync and cable
Any ideas for another scan/renew or something?
Thx

You should not do this always, its just a test for me so i know that its working with full scan

I am experiencing the same problem with my HTC Wildfire when adding files via MPE 1.8.
I use the USB connection in Disk Drive mode instead as a workround.
Is it not possible to force the phone to rescan from MPE?

Please read this thread before posting. Deleting a mp3 or jpg file throught MyPhoneExplorer should start a full scan -> does it work if you first add a file and then delete another one ?

No. The added file is still not available.
My installed virus checker knows that a file has been added, but Android doesn't.

Ignore my last. It is ONLY the removal of a file that triggers the virus checker and Android.

The other action that will trigger a scan is to unmount and re-mount the SD card. Much quicker than a reboot if you don't want to delete any files.
