Backing up phone/sim contacts to PC

Good Day.

I was recommended to use MyPhoneExplorer to transfer contacts from a SE to the new HTC Desire HD, which worked ok.

When I open the MPE software on the PC I see options to synch or download, and it copied the data on the PC to the phone. The list stored on the PC has not changed.

I only want to copy the phone data to the PC as a backup. How to do this please?

Hi,

Only the data transmitted to the mobile phone from MyPhoneExplorer:
file => Option =>Synchronization => Contacts => 'only MyPhoneExplorer " select.

Thanks deGrasi.

I downloaded the latest version of MPE today, and to the phone.

Is your method the same result as:-

File>Settings>sync, then it shows drop down menus for Contacts, Calendar and Notes.

Please confirm that if I simply select "OK" it will copy the phone contacts (I have no calendar or notes stored) to the PC?

I of course do not want to damage the phone's contacts data.

Hi,

yes, if no calendar or contact is selected (only MyPhoneExplorer), the mobile phone sync only with MyPhoneExplorer on their PC.
