Hi

I am using windows 7
MPE 1.8.2
Thunbird 9.0.1 (portable version)
Lightning 1.1.1
MPE thunderbird addon 2.0.9

i know that MPE can see thunderbird to some degree because if you go under Setting -> Sync and click on ADVANCED for the calender option, it is able to see the names of my calender.... so to some degree i would think there is some communications.......

if i click on the sync button in the calender in MPE i get the message
"Loading entries from Thunderbird failed"

i am not sure what other info may be required to help troubleshoot this issue

thank you in advance for you help....

Check in Thunderbird under Tools -> Error Console, to make sure clear the error messages and then try resyncing agin to see if one comes up, and post it here.

no error

Maybe it just needs to long to read the data. Start Thunderbird BEFORE you start the sync and in the sync settings increase the interface timeout from 10 seconds to 30 seconds

i did try to make it 60secs

but the same error, which comes up almost immediately. I have tried it with TB opened and closed, same result --- when i click sync, the error pops up with about 1 second.....

Run this commandline and tell me if you get data in c:\items.txt

thunderbird -mpe export-items=c:\items.txt

no sync with Thunderbird Calendar (lightning)

Hello, i just register to have any help.
I used MPE for a long time with a SE880i. Thank to FJ for this software !
I have a Galaxy S now and need to sync with Thunderbird (contact, calendar)
It seem i have the same problem as larrycr...

I used BT connection without problem. Contacts are synchronised.
Calendar Advanced Configuration saw my calendar in the list.
I push up interface timeout to 30s, but fail also to sync.

I run the commandline "thunderbird -mpe export-items=c:\items.txt" (with the full path to TB...) but nothing appears, no items.txt file...

Any hint ?

Pierre
[Edit : I forgot , i use TB 2.0.0.23]

I've started getting this recently, there is no error in the Thunderbird/Lightning console, but I simply retry the operation until it starts again.

I suspect this is something to do with Lightning locking the calendar database, it may be performing some operation.
