New to My Phone Explorer

Having downloaded MPE 1.8.2 to Laptop and phone (HTC Sensation) connection seems to be fine. I seem to have synchro'd OK but MPE doesn't seen to open on the phone. Laptop is good but I only have black connection page on the phone. What am I doing wrong?

MPE runs in the background on the phone, you only ever see the icon in the top task bar.

Thanks for your reply although it doesn't help me much I'm afraid. If I tap on the icon in the top task bar I only get the black connection page saying "waiting for connection" I am not trying to synchronize, that's already happened. I have no access to the organizer or contacts although MPE Notes and Tasks are fine and work perfectly. What do I do to access the organizer, contacts and calls? Many thanks in advance

As long you see "Waiting for connection" you are NOT connected with MyPhoneExplorer on the PC. What happens if you click on Menu-File-Connect on the PC ?
