Hi,
First of all, I am really excited by MPE and thank you for developing it. I have begun to use it flawlessly on my computer and phone.
So I wanted to install it for my girlfriend as well since she was having problems with Kies on her Samsung Galaxy SII, but I have run into problems there.
Connection is established but when trying to sync Outlook 2007 calendar nothing gets synced from computer to phone. I created a test appointment on her phone and it transferred to the computer, but her calendar events in outlook are not transferred at all.
What could be going on here?
She uses a French language Outlook 2007 on a Swedish Windows 7 32-bit Professional. I first thought it could be a language incompatibility issue (the calendar folders being identified in MPE as French language but since the Windows system is in Swedish they would actually exist in Swedish on the computer, but then I realized that everything is in the PST file anyway, isn't it, and also it was possible to transfer the test event from the phone to the computer so MPE must be able to find the Outlook calendar.)
A peculiarity I noted on her machine but not on mine was that when adjusting the settings in MPE under 'sync', and specifying Outlook as calendar and then clicked advanced to set the sync rules, then an Outlook configuration popup window/routine started automatically, as if I had just installed Outlook and was setting it up for the first time. Since she does not use Outlook for email I could easily just click no and finish to get out of that setup routine, but it was weird.
Any ideas?
(Please I don't want to be forced back into "Kies hell".)
Sync cannot find outlook calendar events

Sorry, could you explain what you mean by that? WIPE action?
Also, the phone does not run on any special rom. It uses the native non-rooted Android 2.3.4 provided by the carrier. I have not installed any custom rom.
And the phone's calendar app was wiped clean and verified empty before attempting to connect with MPE for the first time.

UPDATE:
I have been able to make it work now.
Not quite sure how, but it involved lots of re-installations and different approaches when first connecting to the phone (using/not using recommended first sync, altering/not altering sync rules before first sync, not syncing before having restarted the program, renaming profile, syncing first without outlook and then changing setting... and so on...).
Sorry I can't say more, but that's how it is.
