On sync why did MPE use my internet of 39MB?

Hi all

I synced my phone with MPE and I noticed that it transferred 39MB of data. Why did it use so much of my data? I was under the impression that if the phone is connected with the USB cable MPE will use the USB to transfer data.

Please advise on what I might have done wrong.

Kind regards
Bhavbhuti

Who recorded this amount of data. MyPhoneExplorer will not connect to any server for sync but the connection (WiFi and also USB) is based on the same ground as the internet (TCP Sockets)

I use Onavo to monitor data usage, wherein showed me the alert of 39MB. Also my next day SMS from the phone company showed an increase in amount.

Does MPE warn if a sync is performed and the USB connection is not working properly? I think that might have ben the case cause I know I had the USB connected as always but on a different port

If you connect via USB and the connection is not possible then you'll get a error message. Your provider will not count the traffic between phone and PC throught USB cable cause its handled throught local TCP Ports
