I have been using the wifi connection via my router at home since months. From time to time it didnt connect after pressing F1 for first time, but after repeated connection (or/and restart of android client) it worked.
Now it doesnt connect at all. (IP address is OK). I tried also autodetect and change the IP address (at both phone and PC).
To be honest I do not know what can be the root case. Unfortunately I do not have an option to try USB or other connection way. Attached the log:

A couple of things about the wifi connection and how I use mine:

1) if the phone's display is OFF then wifi is turned off so you will need repeated 'f1' presses to wake it up (my wife has an HTC Wildfire S, I have an HTC Desire HD, her phone seems to 'wake up quicker' than mine for some reason).

2) My router is set to give both phones the same ip address every time they connect (based on the mac address).

3) The MPE app should be set to be always on if connected to your home wifi.

Googled a littlebit and found that there is a probably a windows hotfix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/201348/en-us

Also check your firewall.

Haven't done anything else then left for few days for a vacation and works again.
