Same problem for me! Sync with MyPhoneExplorer works fine but when I change the settings in MyPhoneExlporer so sync with Outlook 2007 and presses OK, MYP shuts down....

The same problem here, too.
The "minimize to tray" button isn't visible and cannot be clicked while MPE is open. The solution is to minimize MPE normally and then maximize it. Then, the button appears and can be clicked. Stupid solution, but the only one for now...

I noticed that the "minimize to tray"-button (which works fine BTW) isn´t aligned with the others any longer (version 1.7). When the window is maximized it is, but as soon as you change the size of the window, the bottom of the button aligns itself with the middle of the button next to it, ie the "minimize" one.

On the other hand, I don´t get any balloon-tips any longer  . I think I´ll try rebooting first and then if needed reinstall just to see if it disappears. :D

I don't know if i understand you right, but i think it depends on your settings. I have optimized the button to run on Vista Aero, if you disable Aero then the normal buttons move a littlebit and the position if the MinimizeToTray is not perfect.

Cause the balloontips, retsrat your PC and check if you have disabled balloontips in Windows.

I believe this is what people are talking about.

see the smaller "_" blue button next to the original looking set of buttons? Yeah I had this problem long ago and I brought it up before. But FJ you claim there was nothing wrong so I just went on. Seems like people are talking about it again.

Vista users have to use the strange "_" in order to minimise to system tray. :)

Yeah, I´m running Aero, but my button changed its appearance after installing 1.7. After restarting, the balloon-tips started working again. However, the button looks the same.

Looks like this:

Weird...

EDIT by manitougs 03-09-2008 12.39: Link from the image removed, cause the targetdirectory is protected and needs an authentication.

I apologize, my mistake. It appears I wasn´t running Aero at all! Some software/graphics driver glitch must have made it turn itself off at some point. Maybe Fireworks...? Whatever. It works now anyway. And MPE´s buttons are placed where they should :D 8) ...
