Hello, I have a question: because most of the time I am at my office I need not often to sync my calendar only for periodes of absence. My question is where the events are stored; is this online or on the smartphone itself? How can I prevent that the events I do delete on my phone are also deleted on my outlook (on outlook I want to keep them) while the events that are added on my phone should be added on outlook .

Your post suggests that you need to "sync both ways", except that deleted events on your phone should NOT be deleted from Outlook. Correct? If you want to do this you should make sure the 'confirm actions' box is ticked and then ensure that the correct sync is done.
However, personally, I'd have it sync both ways and leave the events on your phone. Makes the process somewhat simpler and I can't see that it'll cause any problems.

Try it and see. I've a 160MB pst file (everything, email included going back about 10 years - I "don't" save attachments with emails though, takes up too much room) and exporting the calendar gave a 4MB pst file. I looked at the 'calendar storage' app on my phone (I'm assuming that's where all the data resides, but could be mistaken) and that's a total of 1.35MB.pamifi hat geschrieben:That is the size of my pst -file, but my calendar has appointments in it from July 2010 with every day about 15 items.
HTH.
