I already knew that from the changelog. Please don't re-state the obvious.

Exactly what "serious bugs"? I will update if I determine a benefit for my system.

I haven't seen FJ for a while so it might take some time before you find out what the serious bug updates are.

If you don't want to update, then don't. This is a free software so if you don't want it, don't use it. It is a good practice to update to the latest software though especially if the developer tells you that bugs were fixed.

The bugfixes between 1.8.3 and 1.8.4:
-> when more than 4000 items are synced -> CRASH
-> the new filesync did not handle hidden files correctly
-> the sync confirmation window could not be confirmed on small screens (f.e. 720px screen height)
-> a bug in the installer: The sidebar gadget was not installed on 32bit systems.

The main reason why i released 1.8.4 as new version only one week after 1.8.3 was the bug in the installer. It made the software incomplete and the version upgrade was needed so that the setup was updated also on all download hosters (its impossible to contact them all).

But for many users i think it will not be essential to have these bugs fixed cause they are even not affected.
