I tried a sync this morning from my HTX oneX with my Outlook 2007 and it threw up 37 contact changes. However, they are all incorrect! It seems that it is trying to match up different contacts and the list has gone out of sync, i.e.:
Phone contact A is being matched with Outlook contact B
Phone contact B is being matched with Outlook contact C
Phone contact C is being matched with Outlook contact D
Phone contact D is being matched with Outlook contact E
etc
Of course I cancelled the sync as it would take me hours to sort out the mess. Any ideas on what has gone wrong?
Contact sync with outlook suddenly not wortking
anyone listening?
Is there anyone looking at this, or anyone with any suggesitons?
yes the clocks were the same, and I don't use either as master and always sync two ways so it would a pain to wipe the phone contacts.
Let me be clear: my contacts in Outlook are fine and my phone contacts are fine, so this is purely a MPE issue. There must be some way or resetting the sync within MPE so that it can sync properly again?

It seems that the unique contact ids of the phones were mixed up. This can happen when other apps sync your phone contacts with many changes. To fix your issue you have to delete the userprofile in MyPhoneExplorer so that MyPhoneExplorer does reassign the contacts based on their name and not on their entry id. If you have data in your SMS-Archive of MyPhoneExplorer then create a backup before you delete the userprofile.
