Hi All. I need to disable delivery report because my phone company is charging me 5 cents for every report and there are many! Can anyone help please?

File | Settings | Behaviour: Delivery report -> Deactivate

Disable delivery report
Thank you for your reply, however the File | Settings | Behaviour: Delivery report -> Deactivate suggestion only deactivates the pop up or balloon delivery report continues to be in active mode but does not show on screen. This is costing me $20 - $30 a month.

There is already a option for this. Open the window "New message..." and take a look at the last button in the toolbar. Press the last button to toggle the request of delivery reports.
By the way: By default this option is DISABLED, you did enable it manually
