is it possible to select an app from googleplay in my pc web browser and download it and install it in my phone?

In the MPE client on your PC look under 'Files' and choose the 'Applications item. There's a 'coffee cup' at the top which is 'install application'. Use this if you have an apk file on your PC. You'll still have to have access to the phone to confirm you want to install the app though.
