Calendar sync problem

I have been using MyPhoneExplorer for many months without and problems. Today I started getting an error: Loading entries from Thunderbird failed.

I am using MPE 1.8.4, Thunderbird 17.0.2, and the Lightning calendar plugin for Thunderbird 1.9.

Any ideas what might cause this and how I might fix it? I've looked around, but don't see anything obvious.

I noticed that I was using the MPE add on version 2.0.11 in Thunderbird. I upgraded to version 2.0.15 and still have the problem.

Please increase the interface timeout in the advanced sync options to 30 seconds. If this does not help then check if there was a problem tracked in the error console of Thunderbird.

I also am unable to access my Thunderbird calendar. Here is what I get:

MyPhoneExplorer PlugIn is old or not installed.
Install newest plugin now? (to which I reply Yes)
It th launches Thinderbird, pauses, and says
Loading entries has failed.


I also have gotten:

Folder Structure could not be listed.


I have read the FAQ's, and tried a number of things, but no joy. Using the most current version of MPE (1.8.4)

Sorry about the double post - wasn't sure if you saw this one.

The site you sent me to wants to install software on my computer. Is this correct and I should allow it?

Probably you are using Firefox, but the addon is only for Thundebird and SeaMonkey. Use rightclick->Save as or use another browser to download the addon.
